Noticed this on Twitter. First I've heard of it though. Would be great to have the fanzine back, in the Ashford days, was often all I went for link

Odd it has never (as far as I know) been mentioned on here if they are looking for articles though

Hardly odd...would you want some of the illiterate drivel on here going in a fanzine? I know there's a few on here who have been asked tho.
Be interesting to see how it does, what with Plastic Passion being a modern day (and free) fanzine site

Someone posted a few weeks ago about starting/restarting a fanzine.
Can't see it working these days, but worth a try.
I've got one of the old ones in the cellar - front cover was a bloke shafting his girlfriend from behind (over the back of the settee), with a beer in one hand, a fag in the other, whilst watching MUFC on the TV.
Subtlety wasn't its strongpoint.

Subtlety wasn't its strongpoint. Cutting its cloth to measure is vital. The old days of the laddish fanzine as described above are long gone. It will need to be thoughtful without being preachy and have a balance to suit everyone.

I would think you need to be quite careful trying to produced a fanzine. If it's bland, who cares, if it's really in poor taste it could upset people. We're swimming in a much bigger pond these days & much more visible than when the previous editor ( who made a v ery good job of it ) flogged a few copies round muddy fields in Kent.

I always found it weird how he only had a couple of copies left or was that a v ery cunning sales technique?
