I thought we were the better team today, lost to a deflected goal in the last minute. We're still 6 points above them and have got a better chance of going up. COYS

We didn't create enough chances today. Thought our use of subs was diabolical. We have Charley Robertson on the bench, one of the most talented young players in the league and we bring on Steve Watt as a battering ram up front. Just clueless.

COYS the problem with saying we were the better side is it suggests we were somehow robbed. We probably didn't deserve to lose, but saying we were the better side is a bit like picking out the prettiest turd in your last dump

I would agree with the previous comments by all of you so far. We were the better team for long spells, but lacked any invention in the final half of our play ... Frannie Collin was almost non existant and utterly ineffective and has remained as such for far too long now. We most definitely need to re-enforce up front as today showed we are short of a clinical goal scorer ... Their goalie didn't have a save to make all afternoon. It was a terrible shame for all of us loyal supporters who braved the weather and gave a non-stop vocal support at both end of the ground, only to see us losing by a "fluckey" goal !!!. I personally don't give a monkey about what some North Kent Coast team does, we are Maidstone United and we need to do better than that against average team like the one we played today. C'mon you Stones !! ... Let's get back to winning ways , starting next weekend against Canvey.

Was the reporter even at the game. Tonbridge certainly didn't have the lion's share of possession at any stage in the game. In fact I don't think I've ever seen a losing side dominate possession so much. Having said that, we had no cutting edge in the first half, and wasted a number of good chances in the second. We need the forwards firing on all cylinders and unfortunately it's just not happening at the moment.

Didn't think we had many chances on Saturday and even less today. Yes, they were lucky to win - draw would have been about the right result. Thought our support today was amazing today, really good atmosphere, better than a lot of home games.

I thought we had one bloody good chance in the first half and at least three in the second. Sometimes they just don't go in and unfortunately today was one of those days.

Frannie Collin in particular ...he has been poor for a while now ... I would always give praise where praise is due ... unfortunately I can't on this particular individual !!

Thought we looked lightweight up front today. Made it too easy for their back 4. Tight game, that no-one really deserved to win. Btw, was their lawnmower broken ?

I thought we played the ball around ok but didnt use the two wings enough where we seem to get our most joy. Especially flisher who got a lot of crosses in to no one in the box, and we had no one on the edge of the box to try and pick up the pieces. Other side we never looked like conceding a goal which is good just need to find the right formula up front. We go again Saturday

A draw would of been a fair result. When their goalie had no shots to save how can we expect to win.The support was top draw today both halves the 7 or 8 of us who were in the tonbridge end 2nd half did our best to keep the noise going from both ends.Thought their supporters were fine no ill feeling made us feel welcome.

Good to hear there was no trouble between the fans. Some people have seemed hell-bent on stirring things up between the clubs.
We'll show them how football's played on a decent pitch on the return!

Btw, was their lawnmower broken ? Tonbridge won 3 at home, lost 3 away so far - maybe that's the secret ?
