Pretty damn sure that Rogers is (and always has been) a left midfield/defender. Not sure if you've seen Parkinson play but he ain't no central midfielder... A prerequisite is the ability to hold onto and accurately pass the ball. He's a decent centre back though. Anyway these are my opinions and as a ticket paying fan I just want something better than last season. Be honest there was some pretty average performances last season. Might be worth listening to the interview with Jay on the official website when the signing was announced. Pretty damn sure he sees Rogers in a central role but capable of also playing on the left.

A left sided player cover for flish but has at times played in the middle. Very happy to welcome Jay May back, lets not forget he was part of the Jay Saunders team in 2010/11 which almost secured safety from near certain relegation, not the team which got us down there in the first place

I think Jay May will prove to be a good signing provided we have the players to play alongside him. Herne bay had a striker last season that fitted the bill, Stuart....blast can't remember the surname
