Think we missed a trick with Tom Bradbrook! Still say Jefferson Louis would be a good shout after his release by Margate. I realise he is older but still scores bagfulls at this level Not sure if hes signed for anyone yet tho? Can we nab that Moone fella from Hampton? One of the top scorers Purcell from Hornchurch? All proven at Ryman Prem Ademola released by Dover too? Hes a top player Moone has recently extended his contract to 2 years at Hampton, so he'll go for quite some price.

If the rumours about where they're training are true, you could be referring more to the local players than the mercenaries. Sent from my HTC Desire C using Tapatalk

Just seems strange that a team ostensibly representing Margate would train 80 miles away in London. If I was Margate based I wouldn't be happy with that. Sent from my HTC Desire C using Tapatalk

I See Glenn Little one of the ex -league players bought in for the other stones promotion has joined his local club Heybridge Swifts. He didn't fancy the travel in CS in the coming season but was more than happy to travel from North Essex to Ruislip which is hardly "around the corner".Actual games wise i'd doubt you have a huge difference in travel between most clubs in RPL and CS.
Whole business of distance is linked to how much someones paid,a club probably makes a longer commute worth while

Sent from my HTC Desire C using Tapatalk I don't really understand your point? The original post by 'Stainese' was regarding Moone not signing for Maidstone because he was a Hampton local local boy. I then said that's not the case because of players signing for Margate e.g. Moss, even though he's a local lad from Bognor. So why now have you all of a sudden brought up the distance between Bognor-London and Margate-London, what point are you trying to make Daveu? That you have a simple understanding of Geography?

I simply pointed out that it wasn't only the non-Margate players who would have travelling issues. Since you think my comments have no legitimacy I will refrain from further participation in this thread.
