IT seems to me that we are capable of beating any side at this level , this season and last . But in too many games we come across the same problems . we seem to run out of ideas ,get frustrated and end up conceding poor goals . last season we had a problem at the center back position disappointing this season the lesson doesn't appear to have been learnt . I'm in the camp of good players make good managers and poor performances lay at the feet of the players ,but Jay gets players into the club .

4 Defeats in March is a poor return. We need leaders on the pitch.

Tell you what oxford, since you're such an expert why don't you apply for the job. Bloody wannabe premiership fans with bloody premiership attitudes!!! Sent from my HTC Desire C using Tapatalk What a ridiculous statement to make Lets get a few things straight, were you at Harrow Leiston Lowestoft Lewes Thamesmead etc etc, well Oxford was How many miles do you reckon we clocked up whilst you were doing your garden? Whilst I cant agree with his directness, he has earned the right to that opinion! I don't necessarily want Jay sacked, and certainly don't want to be in a 'sack the manager' every 5 minutes but I do want to see our 'learning manager' actually learn! I'm sorry, but his tactics team selection doesn't seem to be much different to when we screwed up our Ryman South campaign 2 years ago, I accepted that as a learning manager Yes, at the start of this season mid table pushing play off would have been our aim, but we signed the best goal keeper and striker at the level above and had a transfer of 8k plus, for a single player. I listen to his interviews, everywhere we go, is 'going to be tough and they're well organised' but I'm sorry the other top teams don't seem to find going to Thamesmead tough, that's because they are nearly bottom. How many games have we really played well this season, even our early form we didn't really play well! How many games have we made tactical substitutions and turned a game around? I seen them all (Canvey apart) every team loses but we have lost badly to teams others tend to beat. We've been saying for ages we don't have a plan B, and Tuesday nothing changed, Jay has a right to be upset with the players, but he didn't stop them hoofing it at Harris and Atwood head high in a gale! We've been brave in standing by a young manager but we need to see an improvement I know this will upset the apologists, but the miles I've clocked up supporting this team means I'm entitled to an opinion!

Strangely it was only a few days ago that you were inferring that I had no right of opinion because I do commentary or come in at half time (well I have twice last season when I had finished work some 20 miles away at 3pm - but don't let facts get in the way of a good story) yet I will point out that I have travelled, with some regularity, in the past from Brighton, Worthing, Rugby and Carlisle in the past. A good few seasons I did this while you were doing your garden. So a strange hypocrisy from you here You will also accept that I have a right to an opinion on home games without reprisal from you as I clock up more miles to come there. Many thanks Secondly, having a pop at young David on such a basis is a bit silly. He is a seaso ticket holder.

He can have a go at me whenever he likes. I just wish people who think they know so much more than the manager would have the courage to put their money where their mouth is. Of course it's easy to manage a football team from the terraces when all you have to do is moan. And while I'm in rant mode, it would be great if people were as quick to praise as the are to moan. Last Saturday was one of the best games of football we've been involved in for a very long time, yet I don't remember a single positive post from oxfordinmaid, yet he's pretty much the first one on here calling for Jay's head when things don't go so well.

We should also remember that while Tim has done many miles travelling to watch Maidstone you haven't been involved in unsavoury incidents such as abusing the fine security staff at Tonbridge, resulting in the need for police intervention..tut, tut.

So exactly how would you like me to put my money where my mouth is? Apply for a position that doesn't exist? If you read the posts properly, you will have noticed that I predicted we'd win last Saturday, because Dulwich would attack, but that would paper over cracks! We beat them with plan A!

Ok, the reason I pointed out that we went to the away matches, was that Dave was suggested we shouldn't moan about matches that he didn't see! He is a season ticket holder, so am I what does that prove? Maybe if he went to the away matches he'd have a better understanding of some of our frustrations

Very cleaver, you know full well where that trouble came from! It was well documented at the time, I received a full apology from both the Chairmen of Tonbridge and Maidstone

The reality is our players are good enough for this level but would never be good enough for the next level.

The reality is our players are good enough for this level but would never be good enough for the next level. That's a nonsense statement, the majority of players we have are in all honesty to good for this league, just look at Worgan, Collin and dare I say Tommy Mills, Jack Parkinson and the new chap we have just signed
