Just thought I would get the usual comment in; What's the problem, we are back home in a nice ground and are doing so much better this time around in the Ryman's Premier

Didnt go but a bad result again 4 away defeats on the bounce? Fabios been banging them in for Merstham since he went back. Any chance we could have him back again? It seems to mostly have gone wrong since wattys injury? Can we also have our Olurundas back ;-) Looks like we can start preparing for next season in Ryman prem!

Jays interview spot on. Still think he is the man total honesty following supporting his players at other times as good managers should, his frustration and disappoinment is fully evident and I'm sure he feels it every bit as much as we as fans/supporters do.
He has finally run out of patience it seems having previously showed great faith.
I think the team lacks the grit and determination when up against it. Cant dispute some individual talent but too many go missing in games

Cant dispute some individual talent but too many go missing in games Until we get a leader on the pitch and more importantly in the back four we are going to continue to concede goals. There seems a total lack of communication between back four, keeper and midfield. Early in the season it was there, lots of chat from Worgs, Watty and Phillips. If you are playing in those positions you must talk to those around you to stand any chance.

It is disappoiting that we lost the game tonight. Do we really need the pathetic childish swearing though?

Very disappointing tonight, Jay's post match comments say it all. We never got going and more disappointingly at 2-1 couldn't build on the opportunity to get back in the game. I do expect a very different result against East Thurrock in the return fixture as we made them look good tonight.
Still on the bright side the players have a chance Saturday to undo tonight with 3 points at Hornchurch and things will look different. Most worrying at the moment though is that this stage of the season is all about momentum and we're struggling to build any with our inconsistency and gifting teams goals.

Another away trip against a team not even worthy of being in this League and considering our League position, it weas a shamble once more ! The team lacks belief, ideas and there isn't a leader amongst these lads to guide on thepitch' Forget about how disapointed he was again after this defeatn nice guy but not good enough to manage a club like ours. I can't bring myself to point a finger out and say such and such player were bad because with the exception of Flisher, everyone of them were not at "the races "!

Well our current run of form should at least be a relief to the conference . We could miss out on a play off position That will solve the 3G issue for another season .

Read the AFC Hornchurch forum...they are as annoyed as us after losing to Cray. Saturday will be interesting. Jays interview very honest and sounds like some players could be on their way soon.

ETU. Not fit to be in the Premier ?? Bit harsh Didnt they also knock us out the cup last year with a bit of a drubbing too? Maybe its us that dosnt deserve to be in the play off hunt? Come to think of it. I dont think we will be much longer.lose saturday and we may as well start our summer break after the cup final !! Disapointing end to the season which promised so much a few months back Id definatly stick with Jay for next year and i believe they will.! Young manager gaining valuable experience . Only this week we have not only lost Rooney. But Kaine as well remember ?

ETU clearly do belong in the Premier as they have been for a lot longer than us (and didn't they reach the play offs last year). They wanted it more and good on them for getting the 3pts for their efforts.
With regard to Jay's interview he's clearly looking to make some wholesale changes but who would he get rid of? He talks about (and he knows more than me) the fact we can't defend and the immediate reaction is to look at the defence, which is a fair assumption but I always think the best teams defend from the front? And away at Canvey Island earlier on in the season we were up against it for pretty much 90mins but I remember Frannie constantly trying to put pressue on their players when we didn't have the ball......I think you'll find the best teams in this league work hard (defensively) as a unit.
I can accept going to places like, Wealdstone, Dulwich and Lowestoft (and perhaps Lewes) and coming away with nothing as this evens itself out with wins at Bognor and Kingstonian. I can even accept the home draws to a certain extent because teams come to the GS and get 10 men behind the ball.
But these heavy defeats against lesser opposition are the big concern, and I don't mean it to sound disrespectful to ETU but they are in the relegation zone for a reason, and that's simply because they haven't picked up enough points. They have lost at home to all the other teams around us (who they've played) which includes, Dulwich, Hornchurch, Lowestoft and Lewes.....and Wealdstone beat them 5-0 whilst we were beating Dulwich (granted ETU did beat Kingstonian)
Most of us can accept at least one or two shock results over a season but the defeats at Thamesmead, Harrow etc....and the manner of the defeats, are almost embarassing.
That said, I think it's too late in the season to make huge changes.

Apart from Worgs (superb again)only one team turned up last night. But to be fair Jack H and Zac played their hearts out up front and battled back - they cannot score goals unless they have the service. When will our defence realise that when it's windy and the ball is hoofed and skied the resulting 'pass' or clearance is going to be a mite unpredictable. As soon as we start hoofing it shows that our players are desperate and have no idea where their team members are going to be. When we play on the ground the football can be fantastic.
