Like buses, Monday night games don't happen very often, then two come along at once, albeit very different ones.
Aveley's home form is not great at the moment, a win and two draws from their last six. However, our away form ain't great either, just one win and a draw. The prediction thread sees little in this game - one goal at most.
Given our next Monday game, avoiding injuries, suspensions and the like may be more important? All bar one of the forwards can play tonight (likewise Weymouth on Saturday), but a difficult one for Team George to call.

Yes Saturday is off as Weymouth agreed a couple of days ago,rescheduled for April 9 I believe.

Bummer. That's two games I'll miss this week as there is no sign of the Aveley game on National League TV.
Good for the team that they have a full week off and I am going to Coventry, so overall could be worse.

All midweek games have to be shown on NLTV, even if it doesn’t come up on the listings it will be on.

From the beginning of February, the number of National League North and South games will be significantly reduced – however, selected fixtures will continue to be streamed and will be selected on a round-by-round basis. These will be communicated to fans in advance of the fixture and these fixtures will still be available both domestically and internationally.

There is no change for streaming provision in the National division.

When will games be streamed?
On ‘full’ matchdays – fixtures will be selected from each division. Remaining ‘full’ matchdays are on the following dates:

• Tuesday 20 February
• Tuesday 9 March
• Saturday 23 March (International Break)
• Friday 29 March (Good Friday)
• Monday 1 April (Easter Monday)

Fixtures not on these dates that have been rearranged will be reviewed to assess their viability for streaming.

Looks like I saved myself a tenner with us losing 2-0 and Appiah sent off for two yellows

By the time we play out next league game (Dover 2nd March), it might be that we will have dropped out of the play off places...

Crap. The midfield just doesn’t look right at all, been the weakest part of our squad all season. Don’t think Sam Bone is good enough but there’s no other options to play in that more defensive role. wonder if some of the players have one eye on Monday and don’t want to get injured.

Didn’t turn up second half after a pretty even first half which we finished on top. Take a look at the highlights for the miss of the century by Averley. We kept Lamar and got rid of Raz. Say no more.

Overall since Xmas - 15 pts from a possible (if unlikely) 30 - DWWLLDWWDL. Away form - ONE win in the last 10 games (DDLWLLDLLL).

Let's hope this can be turned round after Coventry, as we have three really crucial games in just 8 days - half the other teams in the top 7. All home games, and all games we would normally hope to win.

Yes ,we need a good run of form leading up to the quarter final or we'll have no chance.

In the seven days leading up to Ipswich, we lost at Slough and drew with Braintree at home.
