Just as well we are not playing Weymouth on Saturday AND we (probably) have enough points in the bag to avoid relegation, because if we win again on Monday, our league form is clearly going to take a further dive!😝🤬🤫😁

Good Our fans applauding their injured player off the pitch in the first half as he walked off with a collarbone/shoulder injury Our fans joining in the Aveley fans with the minutes applause for one of their former fans The burger was quite nice as well Bad Our performance The ref Ref was terrible HOWEVER Aveley were the better team and deserved their victory We got exactly what we deserved with that performance - SWEET FA. The ref Constantine Hatzidakis ! One of the worst referees we have been unfortunate to witness over many years. Sent off Nathan Paul at Ramsgate only for it to be rescinded on video/photographic evidence. |

The boys have probably got Monday on their mind and I don't blame them. As someone else has mentioned we lost the two games before previous fa cup games, I think its a mentality thing. Shame appiah got sent off, on livescores it showed a straight red but someone has said it was 2 yellows which makes it feel less bad(?!), but still not good. Oh well...
Roll on Monday!!

They were far better than us all over the pitch, wanted it more and deserved the 3 points. Maybe the cup is a distraction but in the league we are starting to look very ordinary. Appiah should have been replaced at h/t bearing in mind he had been booked - will be a big miss next week if he is suspended. |

I agree sword and got no issue with us losing, we aren't going to win every game or be on form every game, I just think our performances prior to these cup games have all been similar. See what happens after Monday I guess

If someone had offered this cup run at the start of the season in return for no promotion, I’d have agreed in an instant. Might be nice to have both, or even just improve league results a little. But when we reminisce about this season, it won’t be many of the league games we remember.
