If it were not for some kindly soul getting me a ticket, I'd not have been able to get to the Gallagher until Tuesday. Why? Because I'm already halfway to Devon to watch us at Taunton.

When you reach Devon Adrien, you’ll need to perform a legal u-turn as they’ve moved Taunton to Somerset

If we sell 4,800 tickets can we ask for more?

Seems I've underestimated how many we are going to sell. I've been telling people not to worry, weekday, school night etc.

Sword you are a bitter man. Imagine the outcry if the club reserved tickets for out of town supporters to the detriment of locals. Glory hunters from Tonbridge and beyond getting priority over locals who may be encouraged to attend more than one game. I am sure that if anyone is keen enough they will find a way to get a local to buy a ticket for them. The club expect to sell their allocation which surprises me. Monday will see a lot of sick notes, hospital or dental appointments and fans in disguise in case the camera picks them out. If all else fails I am sure tickets will be available in the away stands as they do not fill the stadium. Tell me how you would find a better way to sell the tickets. And with your recent luck please put a hefty bet on a Coventry win. A fair percentage of our supporters do not live in the county town and many do not even live in the county but they still turn up for home and away games. Provisions could be made for these people to purchase tickets but the club cannot be bothered. These fans are not glory hunters they have been watching thus clubfor many years, many of them through the wilderness years when the majority of our "loyal" support couldn't be f**king bothered. I want what is best for ALL of our supporters and if that makes me a "bitter man" then so be it. Finally I had a choice,I could live in Tonbridge or I could live on the street the decision was easy and I'd not leave now as Tonbridge is 10 times the place Maidstone is,its just a shame I despise Tonbridge Angel's or it would be perfect. How would you make provisions though? Online or on the phone sale? People would just be doing that instead of queuing. Same people calling back and buying again etc.

Down to the last 750 tickets. Club are saying they can’t guarantee tickets if you are near the back of the queue.

Can’t believe the demand for this one! I know a lot of regular attendees that aren’t going due to work commitments/logistical issues.
Suppose the day trippers must suffer from FOMO more, still nice to see it selling out. Not sure the club anticipated we’d fill our allocation (I certainly thought it would stop at about 3500) not sure whether the club can ask for more tickets or not. But surely exploring that option.

Would be easier to ask for tickets directly adjacent to home fans if we didn’t have so many barrier wankers, tolerated by the club.

Gutted. Really am. Not looking to criticise the club or anyone associated, but it stings to not go to this game simply because I can't queue at 6am because my life / location just will not allow it.
Having travelled up and down the country, often alone, over god knows how many years to watch the club its frustrating so many suddenly appear when success and occasion comes with it. I'm sure the majority weren't there in the rain against Hemel on Saturday and I'm certain they won't make the much shorter trip down to Dover for the game after.
Tough pill to swallow and finding an alternative for ticketing is difficult, I get that. I guess it's on the screen at the Gallagher it is.
