Plebs have wait until Friday for a ticket. Do we really expect the club to update the website after 7pm tonight to tell us plebs if we can buy one or two tickets each tomorrow morning? Makes a big difference as I have a group of four wanting to go but only two of us can make it to queue tomorrow, so if its only one each we are right royally stuffed! Surely the Season Ticket holders cant take more than 2,400 of them, so it must be game on for 1,200 in the queue tomorrow to buy two each? Or do we think not? I'm sure you do not truly believe the club gives a shit about you or your friends and families. I can assure you that they don't, you like me and a 1000 others are nothing but pound notes and once again they have made no provisions for people who live far away and or cannot get to the ground, and I'm not on about me as I am not and never was going. If anyone from the club is reading this then prove me wrong prove that you care prove that we are not just a piece of dirt to be trodden on once you have relieved us of our money.

Sword you are a bitter man. Imagine the outcry if the club reserved tickets for out of town supporters to the detriment of locals. Glory hunters from Tonbridge and beyond getting priority over locals who may be encouraged to attend more than one game. I am sure that if anyone is keen enough they will find a way to get a local to buy a ticket for them. The club expect to sell their allocation which surprises me. Monday will see a lot of sick notes, hospital or dental appointments and fans in disguise in case the camera picks them out. If all else fails I am sure tickets will be available in the away stands as they do not fill the stadium.
Tell me how you would find a better way to sell the tickets. And with your recent luck please put a hefty bet on a Coventry win.

Just for the record, Coventry are only selling home tickets to people who have bought from them previously.

A fair percentage of our supporters do not live in the county town and many do not even live in the county but they still turn up for home and away games. Provisions could be made for these people to purchase tickets but the club cannot be bothered. These fans are not glory hunters they have been watching thus clubfor many years, many of them through the wilderness years when the majority of our "loyal" support couldn't be f**king bothered. I want what is best for ALL of our supporters and if that makes me a "bitter man" then so be it. Finally I had a choice,I could live in Tonbridge or I could live on the street the decision was easy and I'd not leave now as Tonbridge is 10 times the place Maidstone is,its just a shame I despise Tonbridge Angel's or it would be perfect.

Sword 🗡️ too many complaints when we haven't yet sold 2000 tickets. You are not one of the supporters who lives 25+miles away from the ground. Why can these supporters not be given the chance of receiving their tickets through the post or online,in this day and age its pathetic that a club as "big" as ours cannot treat ALL of our fans equally.

The fact still remains... there isn't a 'fairer' (and logistically viable while we're at it) way to sell the tickets. It is what it is, if you really wanted a ticket you'd go and get one. Besides, season ticket holders can pay over the phone if they live a distance away - to do that on general sale leaves no way of genuine verification. It is what it is.

And with your recent luck please put a hefty bet on a Coventry win. I can tell you that myself and Steve Hemsley both live further away than Sword. We once stood (or laid) in a crowd of 4 people watching Maidstone United. In 2009, I organised a pub crawl, with a few other hardy locals on it and we raised £115 towards the Gallagher. In 2010 I traipsed through the snow in Rugby to raise money for the ground. In 2007 I rode from Oxford to Sittingbourne to raise money for the club. I've forked pitches to get games on, sold raffle tickets and driven hundreds and thousands of miles to watch us. In all that time I've lived in Maidstone for about 12 months in total. I've lived in Carlisle, Rugby, Brighton, Worthing, Sydenham, Lordswood and Croydon. Are you suggesting some Herbert wanting to go to his second game (Ipswich being the first) is more worthy or more likely to return? If it were not for some kindly soul getting me a ticket, I'd not have been able to get to the Gallagher until Tuesday. Why? Because I'm already halfway to Devon to watch us at Taunton.

Nice rant Adrien. Did you actually ever go to and stand and watch at any games at The Athletic Ground ?

Bugger - fucked up big time. I misread OS the FAC ticket sales notice as ST holders having three days, like they did last time, and was intending to go to pick my tickets up tomorrow (today)!!!
Just checked the times to find out that it was only two days and tomorrow (today) is general sale...
So now I have to queue up for hours - not sure my knees are up to that!
I'm working on the assumption that demand wont be as high for a Monday night game and they won't sell out...
And, yes, if anyone's wondering, I DO feel a complete arse.
