Perhaps in hindsight we should have given out a voucher with attendance of the Hemel game and created an extra tier of sales post STH. Would have been a boost for that attendance, then again I imagine it’s quite stressful for a club of our size to sell this quantity of tickets so the club must just want it over and done with asap.

Got my two about 11.45 and was told only a few left. Just as well, because decided to go into town first, as there was no obvious queue at 10am.

A fair percentage of our supporters do not live in the county town and many do not even live in the county but they still turn up for home and away games. Provisions could be made for these people to purchase tickets but the club cannot be bothered. These fans are not glory hunters they have been watching thus clubfor many years, many of them through the wilderness years when the majority of our "loyal" support couldn't be f**king bothered. I want what is best for ALL of our supporters and if that makes me a "bitter man" then so be it. Finally I had a choice,I could live in Tonbridge or I could live on the street the decision was easy and I'd not leave now as Tonbridge is 10 times the place Maidstone is,its just a shame I despise Tonbridge Angel's or it would be perfect. How would you make provisions though? Online or on the phone sale? People would just be doing that instead of queuing. Same people calling back and buying again etc. Well it doesn't matter now does it and I only hope they made arrangements gor other people to pick them up. I would,if I ran the club, have had one dedicated person going through the known names and addresses and anyone who.lived 20+ Miles away would have received a phone call asking if they wanted them and whether they require them posting or not. I wonder just how many distant fans have lost out on tickets to people seeing only their second and probably their last Maidstone game ever,it just upsets me,sorry for caring.

When we are away at Corinthian in the 3QR next season will we take 5000 will we f**k there'll be no glory in it. I'm hearing from genuine fans who have missed out to these twice in a lifetime Johnny's,just a shame their fathers never wore one. I can only apologise to you my friends on behalf of the club because they won't bother.

I am and was never going to the game,if i had been Ii could easily have got there to purchase one and i have never, repeat never admitted to being sane. I hope you got your ticket, many genuine fans have not and i feel for those fans who have been let down by the club so badly. Once again I apologise for caring i know that in this day and age it is a foreign concept for most people.

I'm stuffed too as work in London.
System seems loaded against working people.
So unfair.

Got mine this morning - got there about 11:30 and there was no queue, I got served straight away.
I think they said there were a few hundred left, but they were expecting to sell the whole allocation. Which surprised me, as I never thought there'd be that many people for a Monday night game - even a 5th round one.
If we can sell out nearly 5,000 tickets for Coventry on a Monday night, it makes you wonder just how big our casual fan base is. If only we could get more of them to turn up for league games!
