At least swordy is one of the good guys who actually cares about the club and fellow supporters.

Must admit it grates a bit to listen to 'I'm all right Jack' from 'johnny come lately types' who managed to nick tickets before proper life long black and amber supporters.

You might want to not publicise that too much. Coventry are actively preventing away fans in the home areas. As with the Ipswich game, there will be pockets of stones fans in the Coventry end. If I hadn't got a ticket, I'd have been on the blower to friends from my Rugby days, with a cv postcode

And publishing the name of someone actively helping away fans into the home end (without her permission?) could have implications for her, and those holding tickets she has bought. Might not of course, but could, depending on how harsh Coventry are about such things.

Didn't get an Ipswich ticket as they had sold out, but managed to get one for Coventry. Been a regular since the return to the G, but never had a season ticket, so win some, lose some. However, certainly feel for fans who regularly go to away games, but can't get a Coventry ticket. There ought to be a mechanism to reward such loyalty. Equally, suspect that even if we made the semi finals at Wembley, there still wouldn't be enough tickets to go round. Never mind, the game is on TV, so get your mates round, go to the pub, or even the Gallagher and enjoy the game that way. With travel, accommodation and so on, you'll have saved over £100, compared to actually being there.

Well done to everyone with a ticket. For everyone who didn't get one, they simply didn't want it enough, simple as.

Do us proud yet again.

I don't ask questions but to the best of my knowledge she obtained 30 tickets from Coventry City as she is chief executive of one of the sponsors. The tickets were free, please note stones1,and the money she raises from selling them on will be donated to Alzheimer research UK. There was no stipulation from Coventry City as to whom she gives the tickets to. I must also assume that Coventry City have to declare this to the FA but I'm totally unsure on that. Two of the tickets are going to a couple on their second honeymoon and they will be flying in from Barcelona, watching the match ,staying overnight and then flying back to Barcelona and their flights work out at £54 return which is cheaper than the bloody train from Tonbridge, unbelievable Jeff!

Cool. Just didn’t want eleven Stones fans being turned away on the night.

Why would there be trouble outside the ground? They’re not Yeovil Town.

That’s good for her. Our sponsors paid for theirs. Two different situations 👍 most of our sponsors are small(ish) local businesses who understand the club and how it operates. Can’t imagine them being put out at the thought of having to pay £15 for tickets for their peers.

They put far more into the club than you or I, or indeed the vast majority of supporters.
