Or sell tickets in bundles of three matches including the cup game. Wouldn’t stop the glory hunters, but at least we’d make a bit more money. Presuming people would be happy to pay over £50 for 3 games, 2 Of which they’ll likely not attend. Plus I am not sure the rules for the FA Cup allow for it as it possibly read rifts ticket sales

There is no way that Terry and Oliver would charge sponsors for a ticket,I would assume that it either comes out of club funds or out of their own pockets. I have been around football for 50 years i know how things work. What is a few hundred pounds in free tickets compared to £1000's of pounds in future investment.

I understand that those working away cannot queue for a ticket. There are 2 solutions though, buy a season ticket next year. You did not have to attend in person just produce the season ticket, wives, mates and fellow supporters could have helped. If you attend regularly you will know a season ticket holder and they are entitled to buy an extra ticket. Any one attending the game will need to take at least one day off work so why not take another to secure a ticket would be another option for a once in a lifetime event.

Either my friend who got a ticket through a club sponsor is lying - or who he knows is trying to make a quick buck. Hmm.

I see nothing wrong with giving preferential treatment to club sponsors. They pay far more than season ticket holders year after year and deserve to be looked after.

Very disappointing not to be able to get time off work in Bromley to join other supporters at the Gallagher this morning. Hardly ever miss a home match and get to away ones a fair bit. As a working bloke, never had a chance really.

As a working bloke, never had a chance really. The only thing I think they should have done differently is to keep 500-700 back for Saturday sale for people who cant get there due to work. I feel your frustration on this. Calling people whose addresses show they live 25 miles away is pie in the sky. It's hard. Can't suit everyone sadly

Perhaps a £5 membership scheme with addresses and contact details. This can add a layer after season ticket holders and general sale, and can also mean post codes can be tracked in future and a quick email out saying "if you want a ticket, we will reserve one for 48 hours, please call and pay it and we will post it". I reckon, if you did it now, people would pay it and it would pay for the extra admin too. Gives those living away from the town, working, half a chance and it isn't as expensive as a season ticket which is not feasible for many. It is obviously open to being taken advantage of.

To be honest I don’t know why you still claim to support the club since you clearly detest everything about it.

We could offer bundles of 5 tickets to be used at any league game. People like me would buy that, as there is a chance we'd make 5. Record our contact details, the do your 48 hours thing.
