The facilities are already mostly in place. Turnstiles, exits, toilets and catering are already there. No way it would cost £50,000 to £100,000 for three small metal fences and a few cheap seats. Would probably save money on policing and stewards, and not risking future FA fines for disorder. Not to mention all the recent new fans who came once and never returned following Yeovil. Sorry Bernie, but you are doing it again. Posting far too much sensible stuff. It will never catch on. If it was so sensible it would have been done by now. I don’t understand why people think it’s so cheap to reconfigure the town end for away fans. Instead of keep wittering on about it ad nauseum maybe they should ask the owners.

“Because Oliver said so” is not the great argument you think it is.
He’s free to do whatever he wants with the club he owns.
I’m free to comment on the sometimes unpleasant experience as a paying customer.
Do you argue with Tripadvisor reviews?

Your opinion is based on what? It’s just an opinion. If you’re such an expert perhaps you should tell him how it should be done. All you’re doing by spending a fortune to reconfigure the town end is giving in to the f**king morons who think they’re so hard. Just ban them for life, and get a decent security company who will eject trouble makers of both sides and he presto! no more problems.

Where did Oliver say it would cost a fortune? Give actual figures, broken down into specific costs.
Have you watched highlights from our promotion season and compared them to recent games? One is a stand full of happy fans celebrating goals. The other is hordes of juveniles running to the barrier to taunt away fans.
Bath City was ridiculous. Stones fans could stand in the away section with Bath City kids for the first half without any trouble. More Bath fans turned up for the second half which prompted our barrier wankers to do their thing. And switching from one half of the Genco to the other involved walking around all four sides of the pitch.
Keeping banning kids for making wanker signs is not going to solve the fundamental design flaw. Encourage those kids to support the club in a positive manner and you’ll have fans for life who will stop acting like twats.

This is what it was like last time Chelmsford visited. youtu.be/Gw7OQHGdzQU?si=uoTnSUTQK_7mUbhEAt 1.30 you can hear their fans have found a space somewhere in the capacity crowd. At 7.30 you can see what the Genco was like before barrier wankers. Sticking a permanent barrier down the middle of that stand in the National League South is one of the stupidest decision ever taken at Maidstone United.

Maybe they should just increase the area of no man’s land. Take another block in the Genco away from us home fans. It might incentive the kids and the other fans who will have a much worse experience to sort out the twats.

Best business practice is always to eliminate the cause of the problem, rather than keep searching for new ways to deal with the consequences forever. Didn’t appear an issue and Liverpool man city with a much small separation . More a function of our supporters and stewards

Didn’t appear an issue and Liverpool man city with a much small separation . More a function of our supporters and stewards It’s easier to throw out seated fans and they can easily identified. Maybe some better stewarding and a few examples would work?

Or better still deal with the issue by not segregating supporters in the same stand. Giving a major slice of the Genco to away fans is just plain daft. Time for the experts to exercise their grey matter.

Perhaps the owners should take better care of supporters who crowd along the riverside, rather than those sth's who can afford the Main Stand and who like to exercise their opinions The little people count too.

The club does not have to spend £1million to provide some terracing and cover for the riverside supporters. It seems like we've been forgotten. Either that or we don't matter.

Surely the club must realise that ramming away support alongside home support isnt the greatest idea.

As you probably know I've been at the clubs throat to treat home fans better. I have not succeeded which is why my name is Mudd. They do not care about you or any other home supporter you ,to them, are just pound notes.

This will come to a head when we get go up via the play offs, or much more likely, spend another season in the NLS.
If we go up, it would be madness to have our barrier wankers threatening bigger tougher northern away fans every week.
If we stay down, a lot of disappointed fans will question whether they want to keep paying for such a poor customer experience.
