Nothing extreme about going to a football match hoping to watch football, instead of 14 year olds threatening each other. This behaviour is now becoming the norm at Maidstone United and what we are known for, so attracts the very worst people. Today’s attendance has already fallen back to pre FA Cup levels. The public interest and goodwill has been squandered. Sick to death of it. So what’s your solution other than the same old rubbish about giving the town end to away fans. Which has clearly been looked at and found not to be affordable or viable. And don’t take my word for it. If you don’t believe me ask Oliver.

You didn't miss much Dan. A very few kids outside the ground thinking they were still in the playground. Much better if it didn't happen at all but a few tiny isolated incidents doesn't equate to the Battle of the Somme. Families are very welcome and safe at the Gallagher. Some extreme voices shouting "crowd disorder" is really unhelpful and way exaggerated. Agree though the the segregation barriers don't help. I do hope the club can impove on this for next season in th NLS. A bunch of utter morons chanting you fat bastard at opposition fans doesn’t help to promote a family atmosphere, nor does the awful new chant, which is moronic, boring and contains gratuitous profanity that isn’t even true. “We’ve won the f**king lot”? Of what? Are they having a laugh.

Given the statement subsequently withdrawn following the Yeovil trouble, I am willing to countenance the remote possibility that Oliver occasionally makes a mistake and then changes his mind. You could learn a lot from such flexible thinking. Strengthening the barrier has undoubtedly caused a deterioration in behaviour by some fans.

You could learn a lot from such flexible thinking. Strengthening the barrier has undoubtedly caused a deterioration in behaviour by some fans. The installation of the barrier was effectively an admission they'd got things wrong - there is clearly a problem with home and away fans sharing a stand, if you have to install a physical barrier to keep them apart. But, instead of learning the lesson and putting away fans in their own area, well away from home fans, they doubled down and got themselves into a nasty catch-22. Every time they increase the 'precautions', the trouble gets worse. I am eternally grateful to Oliver, Terry and Bill for bringing the Stones home and giving us such an excellent stadium, but that doesn't make them infallible.

Best business practice is always to eliminate the cause of the problem, rather than keep searching for new ways to deal with the consequences forever.

The latest video has made the Non League Facebook site with everyone up and down the country saying just how pathetic Maidstone supporters are. That’s not just Maidstone ‘supporters’ sword. That’s Maidstone. There’s just a load of young feral (unts running around there now. The place is a shithole

Someone is bound to say the owners must have thought about all the options by now.
I'm sure they have but didn't fancy paying out 50k-100k to sort out relocating facilities and the rest to do the business properly, once and for all.
Even a 800k windfall doesnt seem to have mage ant difference

Where there's a will, there's a way !
It just seems that stubbornness is winning the argument over objectivity and logic.
The Genco Stand must be earmarked for Stones supporters exclusively.

Turnstiles, exits, toilets and catering are already there. No way it would cost £50,000 to £100,000 for three small metal fences and a few cheap seats. Would probably save money on policing and stewards, and not risking future FA fines for disorder. Not to mention all the recent new fans who came once and never returned following Yeovil.

Its a crazy design set up. Banging up rival supporters together with a flimsy bit of netting to act as segregation. Who in earth thought that was a good idea ?

Sorry Bernie, but you are doing it again. Posting far too much sensible stuff. It will never catch on.
