By the time the new pitch, last year’s deficit and minor ground improvements are made, the remaining £250,000 will probably not be enough to kickstart a new stand by owners who want out. So please please please, do the few thousands of pounds work required to make the town end segregatable. Let us spread out in our own terrace, and not be cheek by jowl with the barrier wankers. When away teams win the toss they invade the town end in the second half, and more than a few elderly regulars immediately leave the stand. Once the barrier is gone, many will melt away, or be replaced by families with young children who are currently being put off by the unpleasant atmosphere. Oliver and Terry, if you can’t make a new stand happen, please consider this cheaper cup run legacy.

A few years ago, Oliver and Terry said they'd invested a lot more than they wanted to. I suspect they'll be retiring some debt and who could blame them.

Thinking segregation of the Genco was a good idea has been proved wrong, over and over again. Sort out the Town End to keep away fans out of the way of our idiots, is the best use of any money left over from relaying the pitch

Once town end segregation is possible, let’s hardly ever use it. Barrow fans showed that if people stand together the wanker signs and faux threats disappear. My biggest annoyance last night was some pissed up teenager with his back to the game aggressively demanding everyone join in with every song started by the wannabe ultras. That’s not the non league I love.
