Bill never was exactly a diplomat. And I don't suppose age has improved him. If true, that is bloody disgusting. He's the only person I know who threatened to hit someone who has threatened to hit me!

Not exactly the words of an ambassador for the club.
Embarrassing!

From what I could hear the man was saying why wasn't there tickets held back for regular people that was attending today that couldn't get tickets, and that was the reply, utterly shit if you ask me.

Would have been an anecdote of legend in the good old bad old days. But not what you expect from a modern football club. However, there were never going to be enough tickets for every regular, no matter how it was organised. Just wait until we knock out Stevenage and draw Man Utd if you want to hear complaining.

I've never understood why people who don't go to see league games (where we have at least a chance of winning), go to 'big' Cup games, where we'll amost certainly loose. I agree. I haven't bothered. I'll trundle down to Havant the week after.

It will be a capacity crowd 500 Stevenage and 3700 Maidstone fans who haven't missed a game in 30 years I dont understand all this hatred to plastics. If they didn't turn up you've only got the 1500 regulars. They pay their money, the club takes their money win win. Also you don't know the circumstances of the plastics. Please explain. I'm sure one person has the answer which will be right, we all know who! Who said anything about hating them? My point is you will have an extra 1500 fans who will be Billy bullshitting there way through 90 minutes to try and impress their mates who don't actually realise the are full of shit and when we lose, which looks likely, you'll not see them again for years. What is wrong with being truthful and saying they haven't seen us since the last Stevenage game there is no shame in it.

Why did Bill feel it was necessary to be so rude to a supporter ? Because since we turned professional the club has become all Billy big bollocks and they do not care about you,me or any other fan, they just want you to fork out a fortune to pay the ridiculous full time wages of our underperformed squad. My name is Mudd with the club because I keep having a go at them on behalf of the supporters that they don't care about.

But even on this forum, not every fan attends every home match. If there are people who attend a handful of home games per season, that means there is a larger pool of maybe 10,000 who attend irregularly. This may be due to work or family commitments, or they just have lives outside football. But they are still Maidstone United fans. When there is the occasional big game, the ground is not big enough for every Maidstone fan who wants a ticket.

I'm my opinion they should have sold online but also kept an amount back to sell on game days chip and tonbridge would have maybe got more people attending, then a win win, more gate money etc, then if any left sold them as they did. That way the regulars got a ticket, and the casuals still had a chance to get them.
