No surprise though I thought he could do better than Bromley. Undisclosed fee is a pleasant way of saying he went for f**k ALL or not much more. Immediate thoughts are we need 10 more points to avoid relegation and before you all jump on my back remember we only got 3 pts out of the last 75 last season and we are beginning to ship goals at the same rate as that disastrous run.

Ollie Pearce from Worthing, though I expect he will go higher.

Mo Faal at Havant. Out of favor with them, good striker though.

Alfie Pavey was the NLS top scorer until he got his move to Woking, where he has done sweet FA. Maybe worth a punt.

Im just expecting a loan signing, so we won't be getting a proven National South goalscorer.

The small amount we got for Amantchi will just go towards the pitch.

Yeah, we will see. It makes sense, sensible if not very underwhelming approach.

Maybe there is a NL striker who isn’t playing that we can tempt down.

Who knows. You’d like to think we’ve been scouting already knowing this was on the cards.

Alfie Pavey might well be a name we hear again. I was underwhelmed with him but he could be an option we look at. Ticks a few boxes. Local. Proven at this level. Knows the club.
