Joe Pigott on loan would be good. His wages are well out of our price range, also no way hes dropping down to National South. Other than that…

Any truth in the rumour about Frannie Collin returning to the Stones in time for the Stevenage match ?
That would be something !

That's very disappointing, but not really surprising. Would have thought he could have held out for an FL Club too. They could be an EFL club next season - especially with Amantchi. Good luck to him, but I wish it hadn't been bloody Bromley.

At the risk of being slightly controversial-I saw Levi a few times (though not as many as some, I accept) and I never really felt that he was a proper quality player? He got quite lucky with some of his goals. For his height he wasn’t particularly strong in the air. But he did have pace. Obviously he should get better and maybe playing in a higher league will speed up that process. Or maybe it won’t…….
I do wish him all the best, by the way.

For most of the season he was a great goal hanger who couldn’t head a ball or run with it or shoot very well but in the box was lethal. Then all of a sudden in a couple of games he shows flashes of flair scores a wonder goal and so he gets watched and then bought. On that measure Bivesh should have been snapped up. Also I don’t blame him for going and wish him well. Either he will get great support and become a revelation or he will tank completely and end up in Isthmian - or back with us! It’s all up to what Bromley do with him - anything is possible! All the best Levi - it was great whilst it lasted!

Well I read that he asked the club for a better deal and was given a better deal, more money and an extension to his contract but Bromley came in waving a fistful of pound notes and he couldn't refuse. This is a similar scenario to that other striker, whose name eludes me, who was just about to sign for us and Bromley stole him away only to be got rid of without playing a game. I'll be surprised if Levi plays 6 games for Bromley and most of them from the bench as a late sub and if he doesn't score at least one a game he'll be shipped out again. Bromley have a habit of signing and not playing players.

Sword may be a miserable old sod but he's on the money this time.

My usual reaction would be to wish him well - A young player with a good track record has been recognised for good potential, and we have played a useful part in furthering his career. I have written here before about how I like his attitude, his hunger and his undoubted ability to push a scrappy ball through a forest of confusion into the opposition net… but as others have observed here, he is not flawless.
My worry is that Bromley may not be right for him. I wonder if he is getting good career advice… I hope so, and that my instincts are wrong, but I don’t see Bromley rebuilding its game around Levi’s goalhanging. Good luck to him though - and as far as I’m concerned he’ll be welcome back at the Gallagher if Bromley spit him out.

Bromley have a habit of signing and not playing players. That’s pretty much what they said on the official statement. I can’t see any scenario in which I wouldn’t have taken more money with a team at the top of the league higher
