An even more massive shock of gargantuan proportions if swordy said he was looking forward to the match.

I really thought we were heading for a trip to Leeds, but I forgot that Leeds have a worse record with getting home draws than Stones did (A now official record 13 consecutive away FA Cup draws and counting). It is a disappointing draw, but if you think about it potentially better than getting a big PL club at home. The attendance will be around the same - maybe more away support - but with the potential for an upset (Stevenage are 70 places further up the pyramid than us) and a pitch that will not be defeated by the weather (are you listening BBC?) I'd say we've a better than 50:50 chance of being a TV game - albeit probably not in a prime TV slot.

It’s a similar reaction, from me, to the last draw. Uninspiring but you never know, we may be able to put another performance in to challenge. Would be a massive shock though, especially if it was Stevenage. I reckon there’s a good chance of TV as it will be perceived as a chance of an upset. There is always that chance but I think only one non league team will feature,if any,and that will depend on Ramsgate's result tonight. With Arsenal v Liverpool and Sunderland v Newcastle being nailed on games. Personally I don't think it'll happen but it would be nice to get the TV money as it would make up for the shit draw.

Wigan v Manchester United - this one is a given because United are always on TV in the 3rd round no matter who they play Gillingham v Sheffield United Manchester City v Huddersfield Chelsea v Preston All games that BBC & ITV will be a lot more interested in than our game

I think the realistic chance of us causing another upset (I did say CHANCE - of course Port Talbot and Stevedors will be wise to the fact that we did Barrow over and take us more seriously) will mean cameras and TV types descending on the Gallagher and taking the place over "just in case" we are this years non league club in the 4th Round. I gave us no chance against Barrow and then we played our best football in years and our local boy average suddenly became national wonderkid, so even with Port Sherry and Heathenage upping their games who knows what could happen - and I think the TV people will think the same. Personally I would prefer Maida Vale as we may get Robbie Williams all over it for extra publicity for himself which will put us in the spotlight too and because we've already done the Stevienicks in the cup before on that glorious night when we were ion the Isthmian. If we do get them, and any of their current set up were even involved with the Borough in their previous trip to us, let's make Frannie Collin guest of honour with posters of his wondergoal all over the Spitfire - especially in the away dressing room. COYS! Whose up for a historic first - non league club makes Wembley in BOTH FA tournaments in the same year! DaveU?

Would also be great to get one over on one of the vilest managers ever to grace (bad choice of words) the football league. Take a bow Steve Evans.

If this had happened to us last season, in Roarie Deacon, we would have one of the Stevenage players from that day in our side!

After tonight, we will likely be the lowest rank team left in the cup! what an honour! Well done boys, lets hope this makes us worthy of a TV game. Surely a cold monday night at the Gallagher will be live on TV. I found on the FA website from 2018 that a TV game in Round 2 was worth 75k to each of the teams. So a 3rd round game in 2023 has to be worth around 100k now ? That would mean if we lost the match, out FA Cup run would have returned around 250k !!

I anticipate an eight page thread about tickets. Assume it’ll be season ticket holders first, then Tuesday night diehards, then plastics.
