Have you never visited Northfleet? Have you ever visited Barrow, Really visited Barrow? Barrow does have an Industrial look & away fans drive in on the industrial route leading to the ground & the Town centre lets the place down but there’s lots of natural beauty around fells, beaches, lovely areas to live, nice villages, The lakes are our back garden etc

Whereas if Kent is the Garden of England then Ebbsfleet is the shitty bit behind the shed where you keep the bins.

There’s a big one on Walney Isle & still there & seals also beach themselves there overlooking Piel Island which also attracts the wildlife….Is that the one?

It never ceases to amaze me. “Somewhere like Barrow” (Ebbsfleet) gets investor after investor. We get lotto. Ebbsfleet are the Barrow of the south. That's a bit hard on Barrow. What we need is a couple of local business men to 'invest' upwards of £2m in building us a top-notch new stadium, and then, when we race up through the leagues, thanks to their encouragement and generosity, they spend even more of their money on improving the ground and giving us our very own Kop. But we'd never be that lucky... Yeah the parallels with us is what I was driving at. We are a step behind and with shallower pockets but still...

The Lakes are in Barrow's backyard? Well, if Carlisle can claim to be the gateway to the Lake District, I guess they are...

Been to Aspatria. Seemed nice enough in a dull kind of way.
Probably just as well for house prices that Barrow isn’t in the actual Lake District.

I've just had a look at the odds for the FA Cup game and Barrow,as you would expect, are 10/11 favourites, the Stones are 14/5 and the draw is 13/5. I won't be betting on it but if I did I would go for both teams to score and a draw at 11/2.

And a horrendous away trip on Tuesday. Truro fans might be pleased though.
