According to Hak they were a disgrace yesterday with no willingness to fight. How come it has taken until mid December for Hak to realise what we knew months ago

The comparisons to the Clown season made above are ringing horribly true. Hak is behaving pretty much the same - getting loanees in and throwing them straight in, leaving good players out, odd substitutions, etc, etc. Got 'panic' written all over it.
We haven't become a bad team overnight, we've just lost our way and our self-confidence. What's needed is a careful rebuilding of the team, getting the best out of existing players, getting their team spirit and self-confidence back - in other words, team management. We aren't stuck at the bottom, like we were under the Clown, and we've still got half the season to go - a good manager could work with what we've got, rebuild the confidence, fix the weak points and get us to safety.
There's a fair chance that one or two of the managers of the teams underneath us will do exactly that. But can Hak do it?

How come it has taken until mid December for Hak to realise what we knew months ago At this point, Hak is just trying to save his own arse by just blaming everyone else. I remember back in August after getting hammered by Wrexham, Hak said things would change and we would improve, yet here we are 4 months later, and we haven't seen much improvement in that time. At the end of the day he signed all these players, he's in charge of the training, picks the team and chooses the tactics.......so he also has to take the blame for the mess this season.

Sounds like the 'SACK HAK' lobby has gained a few more recruits over the past couple of weeks.
The fact is that Hak is responsible for getting the club into this mess.
Hak is also responsible for getting us out of the poo too.
Good luck to him and us !

I agree with you Nick even though the season so far has been disappointing in lots of ways. Even more worrying is the way Hak and Terry are playing about with the team, playing individuals out of position. Not keen on him bringing in hopefuls as young loan signings and selecting them straightaway. Recruitment this season has been poor. So has Hak done well enough ? Not imo. But he def deserves the full season to do enough to keep us in the National League. If he fails, then its thanks and goodbye. If he succeeds, well thats a different story.

I said a few months back he has till Xmas or more precisely our live TV game on Jan 2. The owners will not want to see us ridiculed in front of the nation,we lose that and he's gone ,we win that and are still clear of the bottom 4 he may, repeat may,get a reprieve.

Difficult to see how Mersin was at fault for any of the goals, but I guess I should have expected at least one of his haters to come on here blaming him. Poor as he was last week he was bloody good this week and kept us in it. Sorry daveu, but your 3 monkeys with Mersin doesn't wash Ok, then which goals were down to him.

Here I do wonder about Hak, because Galvin has not let the team down, so why was he warming the bench? Speaking of Galvin, his loan deal looks to now be up, so we might not see him again. On the 11th of November, it was announced that he would be staying for another month www.swfc.co.uk/news/2022/november/galvin-extends-stones-stay/

Post match, Hak says we were poor and apologies to fans. Hmmm... To me, it didn't feel like those dreadful games against Yeovil, Oldham, Halifax etc - perhaps because Alty came to play and certainly didn't try to park the bus. Therefore, on the day, we couldn't match them, which just happens in football. Would Sanford have stopped the goals? Not sure, as I was at the opposite end for all three, but it didn't seem so. Would Sandford's presence have made a difference? Who knows? Maybe and, much as I like Jerome, is he really the right on field captain, organising the back four, keeping midfield awake. No Odusanya yesterday and his work rate has been making a difference of late, but why drop Galvin, just to try out the newest loan? Either way, only the real die hards will be there next week, regardless of reduced entry - indeed many would not come if they were paid to do so, which is such a shame after the joys of last season. Having missed a tonne of games this season so far, I have Dorking tomorrow and Worthing Saturday in my calendar finally so this was a bleak read haha. Do we know if the Worthing match is reduced entry? I have a mate coming and begrudge making him pay anything above £12 to watch us get battered.

Saturday all felt a little lacklustre: small crowd, very cold and no real reaction or surprise when they scored. Just all felt a little inevitable. Altrincham aren't the greatest side but aren't the first at the Gallagher who look clever and slick at times and move with pace - we, in contrast, seem to be slow and can't get enough players forward quickly.
Poor goals to concede and it was clear that, in the first half at least, the midfield just didn't work out, although Barham seemed to be a getting a bit of stick for not closing down or working up front?
Second half was better with a lot of possession and then Deacon hit the bar but it all fell away. Feel sorry for Barham who works hard but most of the time is quite isolated, particularly as Hak seemed to spend much of the time shouting for Pattison/ Fowle to stop coming off the line.
To me, it all feels a little like the first NL season under JS - still predominantly the same side as the previous season (I think 11 of the 13 involved on Saturday were here last season?) and a few random players brought in who haven't added much of anything and overall there's not enough quality. Some, like JBW, have done better than I thought they might but others, like Elull are playing at their limit.
We need a January influx of experienced players who have been at this level or above to survive.
