Decent summary but the post should be 10 to 15 mins. Far too long and verbose.

Decent summary but the post should be 10 to 15 mins. Far too long and verbose. Completely agree and this was my second attempt at recording, understand it’s a long winded one, will keep in mind to narrow things down a little🫶🏻

Fair summary of match. Confirms that the defence restructure simpy hasnt worked. Sort of implies we need to get all our players into their best positions. Maybe over tinkering by the management ? Agree that Odusanya and Pattison still look better as impact players rather than starters. Also agree that the team lacks a really good ball winner in midfield. All in all a bit of a depressing summary describing a disfunctional defensive line-up and another 3 players not exactly firing in all cylinders. Add to that we have our best keeper sitting on the bench and our only regular goal scoring midfielder starting a 3 match ban. With new signings yet to make much impression, there is scope for improvement. Fair enough review but raises more questions than answers

Blimey deadly.
I was disappointed after the match, depressed after reading the match review and now feeling suicidal after your post.
Abandon all hope !

Some of the points made are fair enough imo. New signings have not significantly strengthened the squad (yet) and the defensive tinkering has been questionable. But I'm sure Hak and Terry will sort it.

To say its defensive tinkering is to miss the point. We haven't got a regular replacement left-back to replace the injured JBW who does the same for the team. The way we are covering this injury makes the defensive unit considerably weaker.

But the defence has been tinkered with hugely. If you count the defence as the keeper, 2 centre backs and 2 full backs, then only one player has kept his position. Joe Ellul ! The defence has had a near total re-shuffle following the injury to JBW. Choices had to be made but no idea why Tom Hadler fell out of favour. Switching full backs and centre backs doesnt seem to have produced positive outcomes. Hak can't have been impressed with his Bounemouth loan signing for full back either.

After about 12 minutes you lose your audiences attention.

Before you all go and slit your wrists after one defeat remember most fans expect us to finish midtable or just below. That means getting around 4 points out of every nine. That's what we have. Relax people.

Relax people. I can handle defeats (I grew up supporting West Ham...), it's the manner of them that hurts. A defeat in either of the other games wouldn't have been too bad, but not when you're playing the ref as well as the opposition...
