Great day with two familiar names back in the line up.
Obviously happy about big George, but think Phillips might end up being the pick of the bunch coming off the back of regular NL football. Time will tell, but really happy to see him back.
Only one I'm aggrieved about (bar Seaman, but he was never going to stay beyond his loan) is Porter, who genuinely looked like he could win games on his own if he wanted to at points last season. Will be interesting to see who that spark in our side this season might be. Answers on a postcard.

Fabulous signing. This squad is beginning to look like something that can press the big spenders. Youth, old heads, experience and the desire to play for The Stones. It’s almost like the good old days. So much looking forward to this season.

Excellent news!
Disappointed about Porter too - on his day he was brilliant and changed games. But not every day was his day, especially in the later games, so perhaps we're better off with a little more hard work and effort an a bit less 'talent'?

I must admit I thought he was distinctly underwhelming first time round so it will be interesting to see him again.

My God ! Swordy what have you been taking ? Whatever, another great signing, looking like a really strong midfield now, with options. Always liked Michael and he was really the only choice when he was voted supporters Player of the Season a couple of seasons or so back. But so good to see him back. Along with the news about Big George it's been a very good day.

I was pretty impressed with the squad last season - years since I'd last felt like that.
But, even without Covid, it didn't exactly set the league on fire.
But it's football, and we are fans, therefore every one of us will go into this season expecting amazing football and see the Stones become Champions.
Whatever we might say - or even think we think!

A real trier - it will be interesting to see how he fits in with Sam Corne, we could have a lively and creative midfield now.

He was player of the year because he was about the only one who started the season and ended the season....... there really shouldn't have been a POTY that season......it was a complete farce.........

Michael has 2 more years physical development and experience and we know he is a hard worker so I think he could be the signing of the season. Good attitude, remember he offered to cut his wages to come back. He knows the grass (or plastic ) is not always greener elsewhere. I hope he continues to be a favourite with the fans and form part of a stable side for years to come.
