What has happened to Chesmain? He is a shadow of the player he was last year. He looks slow and clumsy. Khan - again how did he make Bill's best 11? He had a good chance to score but his shot was miles wide when it luckily hit their player and deflected into the net. He did not do much else and with his ability should have shone against this team. Seaman - poor defending throughout and not his usual self when attacking. He was at fault for at least one goal and when he had time to shoot unmarked blasted the ball into orbit. Gavin Hoyte had a quiet game but he is no captain. Where is Rafe Brown? He seems to have been injured for a long time. I didn't think I would say it but how we miss George. Mundle-Smith looked lost and it is difficult to believe he and Ellul played together last year.
Rendell had a decent game as did Corne and Constable. Porter was our best player. The rest were poor.

Can’t wait to hear the excuses from Hak later. Absolutely poor. 2 cup defeats to lower league sides this season. Had a few weeks to prepare for this game and that’s what we came up with. Sorry but Hak can’t be manager next season. Tactically poor. How Olutade does not start ahead of Rendell I don’t know

Let's show a little restraint. If the season does finish now, some of our players will soon be unemployed. I think they will be furloughed?

I find it mad the way most people are talking on here like this is a normal season. It has been so inconsistent with games being postponed due to covid etc etc, instead of complaining and start the whole "Hakan out" bollocks why don't we just give it a rest under the circumstances.
No it wasn't a good performance, but shit happens. Speaking as an arsenal fan I'm used to this crap!! 😏

We had maybe 4 players who turned out today, includimg Rendell, Porter and Corne, but our other midfield players were hopeless again and the defence even worse.
Stones were a right let down. Season is finished in every respect

Meanwhile on ITV, we have the sight of two rugby teams standing socially distanced for the national anthems, minutes before they stick their heads up each others arses in the game itself. Speaking of which, Ellul gets a justifiable red card. Can it get any worse? Think England took the social distancing a bit too far 🤭

Club is going down the toilet, I actually fancy a change of manager before we end up playing Hornchurch in the league next season.

Would not mind playing in the isthmian - we were better to watch then. This team sadly has no players who can change a game, has too many players of the same type so no changes to playing style can be made!
very sad to see and sad to watch, Hornchurch were better as a team and man for man! and Sam Higgins where is our Sam Higgins
Time to change methinks

No it wasn't a good performance, but shit happens. Speaking as an arsenal fan I'm used to this crap!! 😏 Well I'm afraid to say that Stones fans don't expect to watch crap and that's probably why most don't watch Arsenal as well ? Using Covid etc etc as an excuse for today's performance doesn't work for me. This team and it's management have been training together 3 times a week and even had a full practice game in the week to prepare for today while the rest of us put up with living the life of Lockdown. To come up with a performance like that when there were not even 2 passes put together the whole game ( even The Williams Jokers team could do that ) can only be viewed as unacceptable by the fans and also, I would expect, by the owners who are having to pay wages to players that can't be bothered to turn up?! Hopefully the season will end here. The club obviously has some very talented players who , unfortunately don't seem to want to perform for the club . Hak out ? I don't know but I still don't understand why the owners fired Jay - his teams played with pride for The Stones !! Stay safe and well everyone and let's look forward to better days. COYMFS

I looked up the last two months of results, expecting to see Jay Saunders (sorry Jay) mid season slump. Instead, though we lost to Braintree, we beat Dorking, Eastbourne and Poole, lost to Hungerford, but had the three draws with Dorking, Billericay and Fleet. Ok, not great, but not bad either. So what has happened since those heady days when we put six past Concord? It seems that the team have not developed. We are one dimensional, with no plan B, though no plan A either today. Amaluzor has lost his way, because sides know how to mark and muscle him out of the way. The same goes for Porter and Kahn. Corne has kept going and Rendell is ok, but without decent service is always going to be picking at scraps - and he is not Joe Pigott of course. So, we don't create much at the moment, while the defence has simply evaporated. Chiesmain has lost pace, while Ellul is lost without George and Seaman was just all over the place today. This is a side who have been in training, against a bunch of part timers, with a forward who made Kedwell look slim, but still had the beating of our back four for pace. All they had to do today was win ugly, for a chance to play against an NL Premier team in the next round, with the chance to impress and maybe get an offer to play in a higher league, rather than face five months in the wilderness. Instead, they lay down and rolled over. The fact that we scored four goals shows would should have happened. Unfortunately, the blame lies squarely with the manager for this. We looked poor in the Wimbledon highlights, were awful against Braintree and plumbed the depths today. Somebody said Hak has lost the dressing room. Recent performances suggest that may be right and given the apparant talent in the squad, that really isn't good enough.

Again, like most say, we have some decent players. Hate to say, but maybe the manager is shit. Got lucky in some games. Again, Plan B keeps cropping up. He don’t have one. Possibly the players are not up for it because the uncertainty over the future. Who knows. What promised to be a decent season now though, has just gone all to fu(k

He is a very talented lad but he seems to have lost a bit of confidence. I don’t think it helps that he clearly isn’t a full-back / wing-back. He’s an attacking midfielder for me. In small squads like ours players like Charlie are often asked to pull double-duty on positions but he looks like a square peg in a round hole when defending.
