Meanwhile, our government seem to be going full steam ahead why the virus is rampaging out of control AGAIN.......I just hope this doesn't end badly and winter once again isn't a complete write-off.

Tell you what, you stay locked down if you want, but I'm guessing whatever the government decides, the majority of people have had enough and will pretty much disregard any further extension. It's not going away so at some point we're just gonna have to learn to live with it.

Where the heck have I said I want to stay locked down?? No one wants to stay living like this

I'm simply pointing out that other countries are realizing this pandemic isn't yet over, and the government removing all restrictions in 3 weeks why cases ARE spiralling out of control COULD backfire.......I said I HOPE this doesn't end badly, because I don't want another winter like last year.

So Christ knows where you got from my statement that I want us to stay locked down.

Just a sense of resignation. I have never voted Labour, and I won't all the while Starmer is in charge. I'm philosophically slightly right of centre, so a moderate Tory, but at the moment I'm distinctly ABB (anyone but Boris).

We are back in the poo.

So far it's not as smelly as the poo we were in before, but if the idiots relax the restrictions in July, all bets are off.

My theory is that the viruses are shape-shifters, and one of them is posing as our PM. It's the only explanation of decisions which fly in the face of all logic. Even I don't think Tories are this useless.
