So we could be limited to crowds of anything between 700 up to 1400ish. If this pans out then it makes the decision to stay full time a remarkably poor one, unless we have some investment we will lose £1000's across the season.

So when the club sells seated season tickets to people how will that work ? I ( normally ) sit right next to people with rapier wit and stunning personalities who are not in my ' bubble '. That won't be possible here. Its bad enough watching this sh*te, but without the rapier wit ?

No shouting or singing and everyone masked up anyway, so spectacle wearers won't be able to see because their glasses will be steamed up.đŸ˜¥ Not a problem for clubs like BW, who don't have any fans, or the likes of Halifax or Gateshead, who rarely get beyond 10% capacity anyway. Clearly we should have developed the Town End and Riverside already, then the same would apply.

For Non-League clubs re-opening to be economically viable it has to be at least 50% of total ground capacity allowed in, (that allows both for social distancing and for most average home attendances) no masks (we are outside for goodness sake) and all revenue generating enterprises to be FULLY open.

One thing you'll notice is that it has the word Draft plastered all over it.

So now speculation mounts that NLS & NLN won't start until 3 October to allow larger crowds ( all over Twitter etc. ):
' Stevie G @daddyg_STFC · 23m Seen a number of posts today suggesting that the National League, North and South Leagues will start on Saturday 3rd October to allow bigger crowds into games to align with the government's advice, Any truth in this '

Bloody typical - the first year I can make early season games, and there aren't any!
Also, I'll be a sodding year older by 3/10...

Apparently, because of Covid, paper programmes will NOT be available ( e programmes only ), based on a lead from the Northern League. Shame, and an open door excuse to stop programmes all together.
' Ollie Bayliss @ollie_Bayliss · 14m The Northern Football League has advised clubs ‘that paper copies of programmes should not be provided for games’.
The League say the advice is because of ‘the Covid-19 guidance to reduce the amount of material/paperwork handled’.
Online/digital programmes may still be used. '

Whitley Bay fc get an average crowd of around 350 and handling and selling programmes is considered dangerous, why then are the tabloid newspapers allowed to sell to millions every day?

I agree Swordy. Its amazing how many things, and whole sectors, businesses, and ways of life, that were slowly going out of fashion, or becoming less popular, have been swept away by the "new world" of Covid-19, (and viruses in general), hysteria. The-New-World-Order-Normal has hastened the end of many things.

Completely agree swordy. Drive through give the food to those customers using paper bag, as you mentioned the tabloid rags can still sell papers yet football programmes should be online well f**k the fa. Since lockdown I've picked up over 500 programmes from the 1930s to this past weekend, no problems with them being bought or sold. The fa have already pissed off programme collectors by refusing to produce anything for the fa cup semi finals meaning it is the first time in the competitions 139 year history where there were no programmes produced. (ok some of the semi finals from the 1800s and early 1900s may not have survived but they were produced) Some non league clubs take donations of programmes to sell and whilst it is not a huge income it is a revenue stream which can help non league teams and they are going to need every revenue stream they can and if run properly programme sales can be a real benefit to teams.

One other thing with this is the fa want clubs to reduce the amount of paper trading hands are they going to supply teams with the funds to install turnstiles to take card payments rather than the transfer of paper cash?? If you are allowing paper based cash to be transferred then surely there will be no problem with programmes.

I agree for over 20 years the Whitley bay club shop has been selling Maidstone programmes to collectors, programmes that I supplied them with. You are right in the fact that there isnt a great deal of money involved but at level 6 any money is good money.
