Does anyvody (JDL) know which of our players are on contract already for next season. I understand Saidou Khan is signed up and maybe Temelci but no idea on others. I have it on good authority (an Eastbourne fan on the terraces on Saturday) that all our players are under contract.

... The only significant change is that Tonbridge escape relegation at the expense of Dulwich. Because of league restructuring (increasing both Step 2 divisions to 24 clubs from 2020/21) It’s only 2 down (& 4 up) this season. Further, with Bury FC (or successor) likely to be one of these, the prospect is that there will be a reprieve for the better 23rd place team (across both divisions) determined on ppg (points per game) Bury will be in the north west counties league if accepted.

No idea at all - never managed to find out. But I suspect most of them are on contracts of some sort. I doubt if any have a Wu Flu clause though...

Apart from Liverpool, there are no definite champions, or relegations, and few play-off certainties (I would guess - too much sunshine outside to work it out!) - and even the Scousers aren't mathematically certain.
So any promotions or relegations based on averages, current table, or whatever other weird method the authorities come up with (as we remember so well!), will leave dozens, perhaps hundreds of teams complaining - perhaps even going to court.
Unless someone can come up with some sort of 'resumed season + short 20/21 season', or similar mad plan, I can't see any answer than to declare this season void.
Scousers, Wealdstone fans and H&W's sugar daddy wont be too happy, but I think we can live with that...
(Do feel a bit for Barrow fans though.)

Finish the season off whenever possible . Promotion and relegation as planned . Shorten next season to 23 games each team plays each other once. Add in Fa cup and Fa Trophy rounds and that should suffice.

No, finish it today. Squads will have fallen apart by the time any games are played again. Points per game; champions, promotions (no play offs), relegations, all to take immediate effect. Start the new season in summer, with extra cup games to make up financial shortfall.

Call the season null an void cancel all promotions an relegations cancel Liverpool winning the title, then open up some nice cold cans an listen to the crying of Liverpool fans about missing out on becoming champs.

Sadly, as I this afternoon put into place an emergency plan for the business I work for to survive, the real issue at our level of football isn't going to be about this seasons tables and who won what as much as it is about how does a club like the Stones survive without any income from attendances, use of the pitch, the Spitfire Lounge, the conference rooms, club shops and food etc for months on end whilst still having to pay wages to players and workers?
That may also determine which players we keep on more than talent or performances!
Like in business in general, the league tables we may be talking about may be who has gone bust and who is ailing, not whose won a championship or made a playoff, as any club without cash or reserves or a rich benefactor may not survive at all, regardless of where they were in the league.
Unprecedented times indeed!

PL and EFL shutdown extended to 30/4 at the earliest - presumably, NL will do the same. Also end of season extended indefinitely, so that it can be completed.
So now we know how they plan to get round this. With Euro 2020 now moved to next summer, that gives them a decent chance of being able to complete the season - as long as Wu Flu cooperates.

Interesting if the NL follows suit. There were 7 weeks (Saturdays) of the season left when it was suspended, so, assuming Wu Flu behaves and the usual August start to the season, the latest this season can restart is early June.
But, given that the virus hasn't really hit yet, I can't see it being safe to allow crowds to gather again in just over two months. And, even if this does happen, there's a multitude of problems (even ignoring the lack if pre-seson friendlies!) - not least players' contracts.
I fear this is more clutching at unicorn hairs than anything approaching a real solution.

Trouble is no one can predict how this virus will pan out because we have never been faced with it before, I dont see how the season will be able to start again in the NLS because most contracts end in May or June majority of clubs wont have the players training as it might mean they have to pay there wages during all this, I just hope all these small clubs have the right levels of insurance they can claim from, I can see many never returning from all this.

The news is now suggesting that social distancing could be with us for a year. Sometimes at current levels, ie schools closed etc, sometimes less. On that basis we will do well to get this season finished, never mind start the next one. Stones may have looked like a bunch of amateurs this season, but that is all we might have in prospect if things continue that way...
