Too busy, he says posting 3 times in a few minutes... www.footballwebpages.co.uk/national-league it'll be as you were, the only move owing to PPG was (as per my post up the thread) Wycombe replacing Peterborough in the playoffs. So yes, Ebbsfleet will get relegated if the NL does what Leagues 1 and 2 have done. But at what level do relegations and promotions stop? Non-league step 2 to 3? Came in from garden, sat down at PC to look something I needed up, sneaky check of forum, posted three very short posts, went back to the VERY SHITTY job I'm doing in the garden. Total time <5 minutes. Happy now? Fleet going down is all I was really worried about (and the very slight, but worrying, chance that they might base relegation on current form!). I suspect there will be no relegations from NS/NN downwards, just to limit the work and hassle. Also, the leagues below us declared their seasons "over" some time ago. So, Barrow and Harrogate up (Notts County and Yeovil crying in their beer), replaced by just Stevenage (Macc having, bizarrely, the luckiest season of their history!). And Fleet (he, he), Maidenhead, Flyde and Chorley down. York, King's Lynn, Wealdstone and H&W up. Assuming no relegations, lots of relief at the bottom, especially Braintree, who were looking at their second relegation on the trot. Only slight fly in the proverbial is the NL now having 23 teams - could they decide to let Fleet stay up? (Can life be that cruel?!) And if they do, we'll end up with just 21 in the NS. Mind you, I suspect now of this is going to matter that much anyway...

I suspect Ebbsfleet will be given the get out of jail free card this season. Due to Macclesfield, or lack of play offs, or other clubs folding, or just for having the wealthiest owner. They truly deserve another season of heavy subsidies, late wages, and winding up orders for unpaid tax. Living the dream.

Will be interesting to see if Harrogate get to keep their 3G pitch after all? Im sure a debate will be had.

I'd be astonished if they're allowed to go up and keep it.

Another delay? Apparently it takes four days for National League chairmen to send an email.

Harrogate have said on a number of occasions that they want to get promoted so are prepared to rip up the pitch. Considering they're currently building a 800 seat stand to get their stadium up to EFL standard, I highly doubt their plans have suddenly changed.

Someone obviously pumping a lot of money in - to a club that gets an average gate of just 1,301! What can possibly go wrong...

The point re Harrogate is whether the current climate makes the EFL look more favourably on 3G pitches. Let's not forget, the last time they had a vote re League Two it was a tie.
