Trouble is sword, you view things through your rose tinted specs. If you take them off once in a while, you would see life and football has its downs as well as ups. Well that's a first. Rose tinted specs? Surely you are mistaking me for someone else. Life has its ups and downs, well I know that only too well. Football has its ups and downs which is why we love the game but when the downs are caused by incompetence then you have to worry a little. We will not know the fallout from this season until the summer when season tickets go on sale. Football fans are very fickle and if we carry on losing through incompetence then season ticket sales will doubtlessly go down again next year and the general attendance with it. The majority of people want success, promotion, more investment in the team and stadium but if our average crowd drops by another 2-300 next year because of this year then those majority will get none of the above. I still believe we have the talent to reach the playoffs but not the management to unlock it.All great points. Need a new approach at the club. Maybe let JS2 and HH see out the mediocre season, and then try to bring something new and refreshing, whatever that is!

That's generous of you, 'maybe' let John and Hakan see out the season.
From that point onward it may depend how the season turns out I think.
Still plenty to play for, do we advance from where we are or go backwards.
If we get to the play-offs, then fair enough I think they should get another season and keep at least 50% of the squad.
If we fail to get to the play-offs then the owners may want to have a think about it, but I suspect they may still run with another season.
bringbackjay has obviously lost faith in the management although not sure that he ever had any.
Much more serious decision for Oliver and Terry who will bring their real life business acumen, experience and know how into play.

Well Nick I agree with you that the management will be going nowhere this season and I will be perfectly honest and say I only really care about winning 2 more games Tonbridge away and Wussstone at home. Win them 2 games and I will be happy. Lose to Tonbridge and ,well we just have to beat them no ifs or buts, but should we lose then I would like the managers to at least offer their resignation even if it's not accepted

How generous of you to offer the Managers another season if we make play offs, and invite our owners to consider their future if we don't, Nick, I am sure they are all ears! Your opinion is just as not real life and is just as unimportant to the actual owners and managers as mine or anyone else on these posts - its just our opinions, and this forum all about fans expressing opinions. For the record, I had faith in JS2 up until Christmas which was supposed to be a big moment when it all gelled and came good, but it didn't, which is why I joined the forum at that time to make that point. Hak I never had much faith in just because of his CV, his demeanour and his interviews. I think many fans feel the same, which doesn't make us all right, but makes for interesting debate.

You mean like they did last season when they brought in wheeler, young new approach which didn't work out too well. It's alright saying we need to change this and change that but as we know change doesn't always bring positive results, plus as the owners gambled on this last time and got burnt you think they want to chop and change managers around that regularly.

It looked a penalty but the linesman had the best view so can’t have been. Wonder how we would have managed to cock the penalty up. The linesman may have had the best view but totally bottled it, as did the ref with one challenge that was worse than Chesmain's on Saturday. And what's the point of not booking anyone for time wasting until there's only 10 minutes left, and why have words with Akanbi when he goes to get the ball for their keeper to try and speed things up. Actually i didn't think we were as bad as some on here think. There first goal was a deflected shot against the run of play. Their second was a breakaway in added time because we were pushing for an equaliser. The only really poor period for us was 15 minutes after their first goal when we just couldn't get the ball. Other than that, what let us down was decision making in the final third, and until our forwards learn to make netter decisions we will always struggle to score. Too many decent crosses into the box with no-one busting a gut to get on the end of them. I guess that may have influenced the decision to sub Akanbi as he doesn't seem to be getting in the scoring positions at the moment. Turns out the linesman did have the best view and got it spot on, see the stones tv picture. Ref was just week imo, allowed the time wasting to start after 20 minutes and done nothing about it until about the 78 minute, other than that i dont think the ref did anything wrong plus if he had booked Clarke and two of their other players earlier then let's be honest it would not have changed the result we wouldn't have scored if we'd still been playing today, it just would've meant less injury time and us being put out of our misery a little bit earlier.

It saddens me to read all those gloom & doom posts , but I agree with most of them. We have become a big club with our successes since returning to the town but it seems that we have fallen backwards in the last couple of seasons and now all these successes seem to count for nothing. I have only been coming to the games on a few occasions lately due to work commitments or some time the lack of it. I have noticed the fallout in our vocal support as well as the dwelling in attendance. Something needs to be done to redress the trend. We are all football managers , owners but none of us could do the job if we were asked to do it. I really hope that our fortune will change soon. COYS.🖤🧡⚽️

COYS.🖤🧡⚽️ Something does indeed need to be done but I don’t expect it will be until season ends and we know our play off fate, which is fair enough. Let’s just hope we don’t lose too many more fans or interest in the club in the meantime as support does seem to be falling off a cliff. I’m sure we got more than 1450 for top of the table clashes when we were PT in lower leagues but there again there was a much better buzz about the club back then. Now it’s just a low drone at best. And that’s just from my posts 😊

There's 2k of us. A few years ago I got pilloried for pointing out that our support would drop when we had two or three poor seasons. Those same voices seem strangely quiet now this is happening and you point it out.
