Yes, but Akanbi off for Knight, yes really, and Allen on for Temelci. You'd think it was us that were winning.

Struggling at the bottom? Playoff campaign needs a boost?
Who you gonna call?

10 mins of good stuff from us, then they score and we barely touch the ball for the next 20. Their keeper punches the ball into his own net, but it is given as a foul though no idea why as he was challenged by his own player. Could be one of those nights. Marshall laid a hand on their keeper when challenging hence the free kick and no goal.

Wasn’t there due to a dose of Corona Virus! But why would we change the back four when we didn’t need to?? Marshall back in midfield 🤷🏼♂️ Surly we could have played Iffy Allen up top and kept Khan, Marshall and Tamalici in the middle. Confused with the change, but I’m sure John will say “ to be honest... Blar Blar” Frustrating, but wasn’t there as I said so if someone could give a brief run down of how we got done at home again??

First 10 minutes was really promising with some lovely play. Shame it fell apart after that and never really looked like making any chances...
A bit like the reverse fixture, Bath were nothing special but had more about them than us. Didn’t have a good angle of the pen shout though.
Still baffled by taking ibby off for Knight when we were chasing the game.

It's a pity we can't bring that young striker back from on loan. You, know, that one who was banging in goals for his loan club. Would be great to have him on the bench - make a nice second-half sub if we were struggling to score goals...

John and Hak have no clue what they are doing. What do they teach in training? Kick every corner to the back post? John and Hak have to go. New manager needed for next season with fresh ideas. Maybe someone like Tim Flowers? This is their team that they assembled and they don’t know what to do with the team. Line up is clueless and tactics are useless. Playoffs gone. But why oh why was Olutade not sent on? That must be a kick in the teeth for him that a defender went on and he didn’t. He might as well leave now as John and Hak obviously don’t trust you. Let’s listen to the crap they both come out with later. Yes the ref was poor tonight but we were really poor.

Disappointing hardly sums it up. Substitutions were uninspiring to say the least. Played a bit in fits and starts but most of the time simply lacked quality. The midfield that was meant to be coming on strongly but doesnt seem to cope well with the wet stuff. Up front we are no longer looking like scoring goals and worse still creating precious little. Any more of these performances and the thought of play offs will seem like a sick joke.

For only the third time in 48 years I am guilty of leaving a game before half time. I wasnt well, I was in pain and I was wet and so I left knowing we had already lost the game. Baths goal was a deflected effort which happens and you just have to curse your luck. Our response in the next 15 minutes was to keep passing the ball back to the opposition. On the 5th consecutive time we done this I decided that I just could not stomach watching anymore. Akanbi once again on his own up front and as long as that continues I will put good money on him not scoring again this season unless it's from the penalty spot. I was almost back to Tonbridge when the 2nd goal went in and my only surprise was that we only let 2 in. I still believe we have the players to mount a charge to the playoffs but I am not sure we have the management to do it. We have now scored 3 goals in 6 games with our current formation, if I can see it's not working why cant they?

Piss poor evening? Arguably. Denied a clear own goal, denied a penalty (maybe), hit the post. However we lost because Bath are a half decent side - fast, good on the ball, well organised - and the on the night we weren't. A case of our midfield having an off day, or simply that Bath were/are a better team? Given how we haven't exactly dominated lesser teams of late, it looks like a bit of a wake up call that we really are not good enough to challenge for the play offs, with our better players coming up short when we might expect them to match the quality of the sides in the play offs. Ultimately, that was what we lacked tonight. Quality. On the pitch and quality of decision making for our substitutions. Can only hope for better on Saturday.

We appear to have “on paper” players good enough to sit mid table or maybe a little lower in the league above! However we sit where we are with a full time team in a part time league playing on a consistent surface that we train on all week! We were favourites with the bookies to win the league 😂 Anyone spot HH or JS2 down at William Hill betting against us!!? When chasing the game its obvious you bring on the cumbersome centre half and leave the young goal scoring striker on the bench, it makes perfect sense 🥴

As much as the deliberations about whether we should have had a pen will continue for many weeks to come, can we just consider that with the opportunity we did get (I.e. the free kick) we basically walked it into their oncoming defender. Cannot excuse that, it’s just wasteful pen or not.

A real off day. Still could have won the game. Bath sit near the top but are nothing but organised and tidy. We are the opposite.
Scrappy, hoofy and frustrating.
Our squad depth is awful and we have several players the managers won’t select - Olutade being the obvious one.
A new approach would be appreciated.

Not so much walked as wanked it. Terrible waste.

Cannot excuse that, it’s just wasteful pen or not. It looked a penalty but the linesman had the best view so can’t have been. Wonder how we would have managed to cock the penalty up.
