Not looking to promising at the minute as the expected rain has arrived and with more expected tomorrow it must be touch and go already if the game is on or not. Hopefully on Tuesday there will be an early ish pitch inspection to save you all a wasted trip if it's off.

Given the very special qualities of the Tonbridge playing surface and drainage system, surely there can be no doubt about the match being played. Anyhow its hardly a downpour so far.
Sword's forecasting recently has been a bit up and down.

Sword's forecasting recently has been a bit up and down. Hope you are right Nick ,I am looking forward to the game I dont want it to be off. As for my forecasting I got the score right yesterday and took BETFRED for £37.46 on a£5 fourfold. PS,this takes my winnings to £1,018.54 for this season on an outlay of £452.00 a profit of £566.54.

Given the state of their pitch, if I were JS2 or HH my biggest concern would be injuries. We can't afford to have anyone else crocked at the moment.

According to the Met Office website, only drizzle is forecast periodically over the next couple of days so it should be okay. Sadly it clashes with my next table tennis match so I won't be able to make it, which is a shame because we haven't lost a single game I've attended this season and we could probably do with my help for this one

The daily Express says it's going to be -7°c with 4cm of snow Hmm! Tuesday is set to be dry so we might get away with it. I hope you enjoy pinging your pong balls.

Weather update: it is already raining in Tonbridge and the radar shows rain through until 02.00 on Tuesday morning with 10.7mm forecast. On the Tonbridge fc website their chairman explains that the water table is so high that it has no where to drain. They are looking at installing a new drainage system but the cost is a minimum £20,000.

Oh well, from a purely selfish point of view, they might re-schedule for a day I can make!
