We do have a couple of number crunching statistical wizards on the forum. I was wondering if sonebody knows how much average home attendances has dropped this season and how much of that is down to a reduced away following ?

I posted this a little while ago - probably in the Attendance thread!
Attendance is down, as would be expected, but not hugely.
Last season we got an average of 2,178, currently we're averaging 1,864. So that's a drop of only 314 (14%) - not too bad.
Unfortunately, that's a bit deceptive, because our attendance was already down by 10% last season. So, compared to our best season in the NL (2,412 in 17/18), gates are down almost 550 - 23%.
It's very difficult to say how much of this is down to lower away atendances, as the figures aren't complete, but obviously that must be quite a large factor. Although even the away support of the Lincolns and Tranmeres doesn't make that much difference when spread over a whole season.
A better comparison might be with our last time in the NS, but it's not a happy one. Our average gate then was 2,222 - a drop of 358 (16%) - with directly comparable away attendances.
This season's gate is actually pretty much the same as our last season in the IP (1,846). But, of course, that was when we were rocketing up through the leagues/divisions, not suffering the hangover of a relegation season.
My gut feel is that this season's attendance is pretty much where you'd expect it to be. In fact, after Clowngate, I'm quite impressed as to how many 'new' (post-2012) fans have remained loyal. The base support is still there, ready for a return to 2,000+ gates in the next season or two.

In steps 1-5,non league there 77 clubs that begin with the letter B and 37% of those clubs failed to score a goal on Saturday. If that wasnt sad enough there are 28 divisions at this level and 6 of them have teams at the top and bottom of the league which start with the same letter.

Bit harsh nws. What is dross to you may be manna from heaven for another. Anyhow, the 16% drop in attendances from our last season in the NLS is significant and disappointing. Something that our owners will be taking account of when drafting their business plan and spending priorities. No point is adding stands for non existent supporters unless they are to be somehow to be self funding.

I notice you never said unfair Not as harsh as the criticism I received for suggesting that a couple of poor seasons would see crowds drop.

Well forecasting that crowds were likely to drop if the club had a couple of poor seasons doesn't exactly make you the 'Prophet Mohammed'. Talk about the blindingly obvious.
