Oddly, it wasn't a bad game. Dartford wanted it more than us, and could easily have won 3 or 4 nill (they missed a couple of absolute sitters), whereas we could have played all night and not scored. Our only decent shot was the last ball of the game when a long range shot from Boucard (?) hit the bar. It will be interesting to see what people who saw both the St Albans game and this one have to say. This seemed better than what I heard of the St A game on SL, although with much the same outcome... The one bright spot was our No 3, who came on about 20 mins into the second half - he looked the business. I didn't catch his name and I'm pretty sure I've not seen him before, but he looked too old to be one of the U23s - a trialist, perhaps? But, overall, we look like a team who just don't care enough and with too many passengers. Defensively we are a bit of a mess and we seem to offer nothing up front. Even players like Kahn and Akanbi weren't impressive tonight. Rather worrying - was Akanbi's goal scoring just a flash in the pan, is Khan the player we thought he was? No one would buy either off us after tonight's performance. Still, at least it didn't go to extra time/pens (far too cold for that!), and, to be honest, I don't care if I never see another KSFC game again - ever. And I'm pretty sure that's the first sub being subbed I've seen in a competetive game since at least Barry Fry's time! Did you really say that wasn't a bad game, Jesus i was bored out of my brains it was that tedious to watch. First half felt like a pre season friendly being played in freezing cold conditions the amount of misplaced passes and poor play. Ref helped by giving out completely baffling decisions missed clear fouls, both ways and then blew up for things which weren't even fouls. When there was the all in argument about whose dad is bigger our 9 and their three should've been sent off for raised hands, but willy the wally wearing black missed it completely but by this stage he had already lost control. He'd blown his whistle and called our 9 and there 11 over to him neither moved an inch, ref then walks to another position and calls them over again, again neither player burger. Where he got the second yellow for knight was a mystery, it wasn't even a foul, the first yellow for knight was probably the only thing he got right all game for a deliberate handball. Dartford fans probably gone back home claiming they took Maidstone, yep took you all a few seconds to realise you scored guys. Like a lot of games there are plenty of could've should've would've moments we had a couple temelci had a great chance second half, but didn't shoot and when he cut back inside he was clattered by hill penalty not with this ref, first half akanbi gets clipped by vint i think penalty not with this ref, boucaud hits a sweet strike in the dying seconds great save by the keeper. In all truth if one of those would've gone our way it would've been completely unjust on Dartford as we got exactly what we deserved which was sweet fa. I felt sorry for the number 14 who work hard put in a shift and put himself about but was starved of any service, i also felt for the 17 playing wide stuck in a couple of decent crosses but we had no one in the box and then to take the kid off after twenty minutes wait a kill his confidence for f### sake.

Players late for team meetings...……..and then being named and shamed on KOL...……..young lads being tried out as subs then being subbed themselves...…….a strong mainly first team losing in KSC with a whimper to a weak (?) Dartford team at home after an equally poor league defeat where we needed to thrash Darts to get some confidence back...……..a Manager who forgets his players names? Stop moaning at the players............the Managers have lost the plot here. Remember, Iffy, Justin and Olutade are John and Haks boys brought in to take us to the play offs. If suddenly we find out they are bad eggs, whose responsibility is that? John and Hak need to get a grip - fast. The ship is holed badly and is taking on water. Its not sunk yet, but those lifeboats are looking a good bet for people like McClure, maybe Saidoo and others, too, if they can find another ship to get to.

Found the whole thing quite funny, JS punishes the players for turning up late yet he admits that he has been late a few times in the past as well, yet he escapes punishment..

I forgot to put "under the circumstances" - those circumstances being freezing cold, watching a game I didn't want to be at, and (after the first 10 minutes) feeling fairly certain we were going to lose, badly. In the end we played a lot better in the second half (it didn't look 10 v 11) and No 3 looked interesting. And the chip queue was short... I thought the subs were handled very badly (but then what's new?). They should have said to the lads before the game 30 minutrees each, or something similar, then they don't feel bad about being taken off. Or they should just have played the trialist first! The really worrying thing about the game for me was that it confirmed both that this team doesn't really care enough about winning (did you see them when they came off? looked like they'd just done a training session), and that HH hasn't got a bloody clue - about anything. If he's still here come August, we are fucked. Isthmian Premier, here we come.

Incidently, did anyone clock the size of their 5 and 6? Two huge defenders - so what do we do? Play f**king long ball.
Their 7 was tall too. He walked off late, just as I was leaving, and he seemed head taller than me - and I'm nearly 6'!

For the first 20 minutes of the Second Half I stood near the Dartford dugout. Their Manager was shouting constantly; "that's just not good enough", "do your job", "that's unacceptable" and so on; never a word of encouragement. When the Ref was booking one of their players he continually shouted "Hey Ref don't try and even things up".
Their players are well drilled in conning the Ref; one of their Centre-Backs ran over to tackle Akanbi, screamed as loud as possible before making the tackle and won a free kick from a Ref who was totally out of his depth.
At half time I was passing a group of people near the players tunnel, the group included at least two of the "late" players one of whom said something like "I was told to go home". I did wonder at the time if there was an issue with some of the players. Now we know.
Odd how we seemed to play better in the second half with only 10 men compared to the abysmal first half showing from 11. Temelci and Kahn were excellent and Boucaud seem to get better as the game went on.

The ref lost the plot last night. Even the Dartford player who got booked early in the 2nd half did not deserve it. Have to agree with the Dartford bench.

That wasn't a bad Dartford line up, true 9 changes from Saturday but Steve King is carrying a big squad at the moment, so all were plausible first teamers.
Anyway, the point is, the little we saw of Jordan Tingley he didn't look at all out of place, and was up against Sanchez Ming, who is no ones reserve (not in non league at least)

www.kentonline.co.uk/maidstone/sport/why-tingley-made-way-220671/Hak thinks we played well??? and that Tingleys sub was tactical. He referenced knights sending off but Tingley was subbed on after that occurred, so to then say he had to change things up indicates he made the substitution the first time without any foresight of thinking. Reinforces Hak hasn’t got a clue.
