So Wimbledon is the only true grand slam tennis tournament, because all the others are played on artificial courts?
That could be the difference between a pitch and a court

Walked down that way many years ago and it really is a post apocalyptic landscape. Should be easier to get planning and a chance to decouple from their owner, if he’s willing to walk away from the millions he’s lost.

I know those developer pictures are designed to make the ugliest urban blight look green and beautiful, but that picture looks more like a stadium which holds <4000 people…which would still be too big for them.

Ambitious and nothing wrong with that. They are clearly unsustainable as a football club alone, and without the cash injections would fail.
There is no point in building a 1,500 all seater stadium for sure so 8,000 makes its future proof.
The cynic in me thinks that, to gain planning permission, some tweaks will be made. Much less retail and business space and much more housing.
Anyway, best of luck to them. Interesting that they went to this toure rather than the 3G pitch, use all week long, model that is proven to work. They’ve always been very ambitious.

It is one thing to have ambition, but in the current economic climate, it is stretching credulity.

3952 at Dartford for a friendly Vs Millwall. Maybe that’s the 10th anniversary game we should have had. Although early reports of Dartford Youth being propa nawty.

Luke Coulson has signed for Dartford, didn't see that one coming thought he would have stayed at National League level.
