BBC News - www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0dd0w7r90voArticle about the football funding regulation thing, quoting Tonbridge owner. Apparently there is a meeting at AFC Wimbledon coming up, not that it will result in anything. One snippet from the article is that for every £1000 of TV money the premier league clubs get, at NLS level, it is 14p! Ok, they don't televise many games at our level, but even so. The meeting will also discuss cutting out FA cup replays, though the best response to that will be for lower league clubs to win and deny the top clubs a replay. At the very least that should mean PL clubs field stronger sides in future cup games - if they are bothered in the first place of course.

Typical BBC 'minimal research because it's doesn't matter' piece. Apparently, we will have the most expensive 3G pitch in the world next season - as we're spending £800k on it...

To be fair it doesn’t say we’re spending the whole 800k on the pitch.

To Hinsheleood who was his manager at Worthing last season. If he is going to give it a go at full time now’s the time

Ollie Pearce to York now confirmed Shame he didn't go there before the playoffs! Obviously will be a tough player to replace for Worthing.

Are you including Pavey in “good”? Not really. He can’t really kick the ball very well

I remember Eastbourne being talked up as playoff possibles this time last year. Instead they very nearly went down!

Well on Fri/Sat/Sun Tonbridge Angel's are hosting a 3 day music and beer extravaganza called Angelfest. This comprises of around 20 live acts,a disco and a host of local beers. This is expected to be attended by over 1000 people across the weekend. Meanwhile Maidstone have a quiz night🤣🤣🤣 Pathetic!☹
