I can see Worthing really dropping off if they lose Ollie Pearce. Trying to replace someone who's scored nearly 70 goals in the league in the last 2 seasons is going to be very tough.
Being that he's now a free agent, I'd expect him to be off, hes going to get teams offering silly money.

Could be that at least half the teams will be expecting to be in the playoffs next season as, on paper at least, it looks a much stronger league. We must hope that George's clear out is intended to produce a team capable of winning the league, rather than this season's 'consolidate and hope for the best'- which certainly worked out well in the end. You'd think Dorking and BW could both afford decent squads, but could either/both do a Dover and implode? I also wonder how many other clubs are doing the same as Maidstone? You'd think some would be tempted to stick with what they've got if they did well this season. Equally, wouldn't be surprised to see at least a couple of ex Stones players from the last two years appearing in an away team next season.

Not a snowballs chance that Dorking and BW will do a Dover and implode. Dover had the joy of the owner, Uncle Jim, withdrawing all funding subsidy. Nothing of the sort will happen to the other 2 relegated clubs who will be pushing very hard for promotion. I expect Dorking to be the team to beat next season with BW def in the play-offs.

I'm not sure about Boreham Wood as Danny Wanker, sorry Hunter seemed to pull the plug on finances towards the end of the season and with much smaller crowds this year and the rumour that Arsenal ladies could be on the move taking away that income then they could well struggle. Danny Wanker, sorry wanker no I meant wanker,oh let's face it he's a wanker will tell everybody that he has mortgaged his house for 30th time along with the rest of his usual bullshit. I'll still not go there as the wanker isnt getting a penny from me.

You may be right about DH(W) but are you sure about Arsenal Ladies ?
The signed agreement between the clubs runs until 2027.

You may be right about DH(W) but are you sure about Arsenal Ladies ? The signed agreement between the clubs runs until 2027. They signed that back in 2017. Fair to say the popularity of women’s football has skyrocketed since then. Considering they can draw big crowds at the emirates somewhat regularly you’d imagine they’re looking at alternative home venues when it expires - lots of rumours surrounding them buying barnets ground (who are looking to move themselves). Probably into the last few years of having that as a revenue stream so probably need to be a bit more sensible.

Do you mean that Arsenal Ladies will be moving into Barnet's new stadium when it is built circa 2026 ? In any event I imagine Arsenal will be bound to honour its legal agreement with BW.

Looking at the players Boreham Wood ended the season with (Tshimanga certainly won't have been cheap) and the ones they have retained for next season, they wont be cutting back on their spending at all. I expect Boreham to be the favourites for the title.

Hmmm. New hope, or just yet another sad chapter in Torquay's recent history? My guess is the latter.
