And so it goes on. Is it any wonder conspiracy theories grow exponentially? Then there is Yellowhammer... I've heard/read comments along the lines of 'no wonder the government did not want to share this'. You bet they fecking didn't! So now the odious Gove says it has all moved on and not as bad as they first thought - and that they will be sharing what has been done since, soon. This presumably when they have found the back of another fag packet to write it down on. Given that they hid Yellowhammer from us in the first place, is it any more likely we will hear the truth this time? When it was leaked to the Sunday Times and Gove was interviewed, he looked like a schoolboy who had been caught cheating. Now he is putting out all manner of lame excuses about not naming civil servants to protect the plotting that went on to set up peroguing of parliament. We, excuse me, but though it is civil servants who carry out the work, it is government who make the policies. If it was civil servants who decided to perogue parliament, then that really was a coup d'etat - but of course not, it was BoJo and his cronies who did the plotting and yet again they are hiding behind smoke and mirrors. As Linekar says above, if there is effectively an eight billion pound betting scam behind leaving the EU and a no deal, then no dungeon is deep enough for the perpetrators. Fake news? In some ways it wouldn't surprise me, but then little does these days. Strange times indeed.

So, to sum up. You got a story from a 'reputable' source. The story told about a treaty from several years ago that was going to cause Britain all sorts of pain. The story turns out to be utter hogwash. You don't denounce your source as disreputable and an idiot feeding you utter lies. You decide the lies are not portrayed the way you like. From this You thus conclude the EU might do nasty things. You want out NOW! Jesus wept...the mental gymnastics od a leaver that won't listen to fact. Not convinced its utter hogwash, need convincing and as much as I like you all I dont believe you know any better than me. Pray tell how you convince someone that ignores facts reason and common sense?

Interesting research data in a new book that has just been published by Rob Ford titled 'Sex, Lies and Politics'
On the matter of sex, it suggests that Leave voters are essentially conservative who favour stability, familiarity and continuity.
Remain voters tend to be more adventurous, progressive, open minded, experimental and prepared to accept new ideas and change.
On the matter of telling lies it appears that it is more prevalent with those people who take their politics seriously, whatever their viewpoint !
What say you sword ?

The gap between fact and fiction is far less than that that lies between truth and lies.An accomplished liar can manipulate the truth to his or her own advantage much in the way that remainers manipulate the facts to ridicule leavers. The authors use of mirror imagery in his philosophical statements is quite clever but the underlying truth of his statements prove that he doesnt know his arse from his elbow . I am afraid my answer shows many signs of inadequacy for trying to be philosophical whilst sober is much harder than being philosophical when tanked up on Stella so maybe come midnight on Saturday I will get my brain into gear and see what manner of pure brilliance arrives at my fingertips. Meanwhile England are 128-2

I heard not a single foreign accent let alone spied these hordes of Eastern Europeans on every corner

Failing that, read the treaty. I'm a raid to say that if we are reading the actual Treaties and you are not then we do know better

As for Specsavers...I think your eyes and ears work it is just that Dominic Cummings has convinced you to ignore the evidence they provide
