Headstone, is it you that currently has the phrasebook so we can understand threads like this? Is it "Wheel out the Barrow" or summat? Reem innit. Did I use that term correctly?

Interesting parallel between Harry and the prime minister. Both seemingly stubborn, dogmatic and with one track minds. Will either prevail, and if not, who will go first? Could be it is their inflexibility that will scupper the pair of them and both are currently short of quite a few key players. Meanwhile their own teams and their opponents are happy to knock lumps off them. At least Stones fans generally know what is needed to succeed. Not sure anybody in parliament does!

I want Harry IN, May Out, BREXIT and a White Christmas. I think I have a 75% in my favour. What’s the 25% against

It definitely is not time for Wheeler to go. He has had a mixed time so far, but there are positives. For starters, I think most people agree that he has signed some good players. Most people agree that the team is fitter than under Jay. The issues are selecting the right starting line up, formulating tactics that work, and getting some consistency in both of these things, without resorting to hoof ball. I am quite certain he spends a lot of time thinking about those things and he knows it isn't working as it is. I'd hate for us to become yet another club that cycles through 2 - 3 managers a season. You'll never get anywhere if you do that. I'd give him December and probably January as well to sort it out. If we get to February, we're rooted to the bottom or near as and losing most games, then Terry and Oliver may decide they've nothing to lose by making a change. Now is too soon.

Stones getting relegated will be a drop in the ocean compared to what Brexit will do to us.

Have you looked at the table recently? February will be far too late, even possibly January. We can't rely on the teams underneath us this time. Without a miracle soon, we're going down. The only question for T&O then will be stick with Harry, or get someone in asap to rebuild for a promotion challenge in the NS. If he can't keep us up, what's the bloody point?

Give the guy a break, he's trying, what's been proven is our defensive is not good enough, players from last season still at the back, that's just to start, can't be bothered to write the rest we all know, clean sheets win games, both centre backs at fault for both goals Sat, say no more, coys

jayser summed it up pretty well, highlighting the positives of having a team of better and fitter players.
pity that the downsides in his post then took over and a negative listing seemed quite a bit longer
surely if players are fitter (which they are) and Harry has signed some good players (which he has),
then it should be reflected in performances which are down to team selection and tactics
personally I think Harry has until the end of December to sort it out.

The big difference is goals scored - well down on the last two seasons. Harry should stop f**king about with the defence, and concentrate on the attack - more attacking midfield, and players who can actually score goals.

I usually try to stay positive but yeah if those are tactics he will keep doing and making our good players seem shit and stop saying we need a goalscorer the goals will come if he stops these shit tactics ive had enough also before you say i liked jay i hated jay but it seems the team are still playing the same way Hated Jay? #LovePromotion #HateJay

I think a lot of the problem is down to confidence and the lack of within the team but isn't that what we are paying this sports psychologist for. In the last fortnight our players heads have gone down and what is the shrink doing about it. Now he maybe working 24 hrs a day to solve this problem but I wouldn't put money on it. One good win will restore the confidence within the team or even one bad win would help and maybe just maybe this Saturday will provide it.

H&W and Eastleigh were dire results. 1-0 down we get a man sent off and it completely changes the game. Eastleigh, Romaine gets IMO a perfectly good goal disallowed.Changes the game. On another day we could have won both. Agreed bad results, but a few on here are getting a bit hysterical. Before they 2 games we were starting to turn the corner. No distraction of the Cup now. I think we’ll start to pick up again, if we stop giving cheap goals at the back. Onwards and Upwards

Just had a premonition in a dream.... we lost 4-0 away to Dover on Boxing Day and Maidenhead won 2-0.
Seemed fairly realistic although I do doubt certain elements of the dream, mostly that to get to Crabble you needed to take a ski lift (wouldn’t be too bad if they did install one to be fair).
The dream after where I was in charge of the largest Aldi in Poland but only English people shopped there might have some baring on wether to ignore my first dream though.
