Cannot understand the calling to get rid of Harry an reinstate Saunders for at least the rest of the season, so logic says sack HW for his poor run of form an give the job to someone with a worse run of form. Makes no sense to me, I,m niether a HW fan or a JS fan I,m a Maidstone Utd fan, I really believe it will do us more harm if we get rid of HW too soon I,ve watched a lot of games this year an even though we have lost in a lot of games we didn,t play badly so hopefully our luck will change soon.

You're right, bringing back Jay would be a mistake, but I can't see how you can say we've played well any any more than a couple of games. We have spells in most games where we play well, but overall it's pretty awful to watch and on the whole we are exactly where we deserve to be. I'm certainly not one of those calling for Harry's head but he needs to start turning his words into actions. Talking a good game isn't going to keep us up.

Well he certainly don't hold back sticking the boot in. Why he may well be right about the players not being good enough....throwing them under the bus in the press ain't the way to go about things.

Whether it's true or not his choice of words shows him up to be a bit of a bunt (Monty Python fans will recognise the reference).

Wheeler has blamed everyone but himself He’s got to go if it was in a mess when he joined It’s in a far bigger one now

Harrys blame game is disrespectful, an insult to the players and manager he is making a side swipe at, and to us fans who still wish some - not all - of those players were still with us, especially the ones who gave the club such sterling service. Its also untrue, as many of those players are still at National League level. Also, Harry has brought in players from lower leagues that underperform. His blame game rant is also ignoring the true issues with the teams woeful performances. Christmas present for Harry? Definitely a mirror, to see where the Stones problems really lay. I am also fed up with the constant defence on the proboards of a Manager who got rid of so many good and popular players, has punch-ups with his team at half time, gets players on loan he doesn't use, makes wholesale team changes (to no effect), has a journeyman, mercenary team of newbies that do not gel together (not their fault), promotes LBDTM as his key tactic, and now is blaming the previous Manager for the mess he is Manager of. No, its not too early for Wheeler out. The club is sinking under an inexperienced rookie manager and needs a wise head. Didn't we get rid of Jay because he was out of his depth?

Yes Nick it is VERY depressing - every game is depressing! The actual facts and details about HW's reign to date, his style, "tactics", decisions, transfers, and the teams performance etc are actually worse than under Jay. This isn't an emotional statement, its a factual one. No, I'm not saying we get Jay back, I am just saying surely it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that the evidence is crystal clear that Harry is a rookie out of his depth and the only real defence for him is "give him a chance". However, he gave a lot of good players very little chance and so surely needs to be measured similarly?...........and anyway, why would you give a chance to someone who is so clearly so lost that he is advocating LBDTM and blaming the previous manager and team for the current state of the team? His latest rant is disappointing, and gives no confidence that things will change. That is depressing, and there is no escaping that fact. Or should we all just put rose coloured glasses on and pretend nothing is wrong, and it will all come good if we just give him time?

That KM back page article is awful. Little kid caught out, trying to blame everyone else.
Whatever respect I still had for Harry has gone.
Never in a million years thought I'd say this, but perhaps Tamplin was right?

I find it hard to believe that he's been allowed to make statements like this, whether you believe them to be true or not. It's not helpful and certainly not when the position is worse than when he joined. Someone needs to tell him to shut up.

I've not commented yet on Wheeler's reign: I've been keeping my thoughts to myself, but that article is horrendous. A few years ago I read a book called 'How To Lose Friends And Alienate People' by Toby Young. It was about the extraordinary level of ineptitude displayed by the author who moved to America to make his fortune, but had his plans thwarted by, for example, hiring a stripper at work on 'Bring Your Daughter To Work Day'.
This interview feels very similar.

Whether it's true or not his choice of words shows him up to be a bit of a bunt (Monty Python fans will recognise the reference). Not the sort of comments you'ld expect from someone looking for a long term relationship with a club or its supporters.
Increasingly looking like he's more chance of getting us into a play-off position than getting the supporters onside.
*not sure why the whole quote I was replying to didn't appear but, for the avoidance of doubt, the 'comments' I refer to are Harry's as printed in the KM
