I can see a few chants of "going down going down going down // so are we so are we so are we" during the double-header derbies... On our way, we're on our way. To the national south we're on our way. Or if we go a goal down, the classic, ' you're nothing special, we're sh*t every week ? '.

If there aren't 20 worse teams than Les Blancs and Harry Wheeler's boys quite possibly! One month ago I would have said Dover were doomed,in fact it was nailed on. The two Dover and Stones games will be massive, see you at Crabble and the Gallagher. Not too sure on your maths, POK, because twenty WORSE teams would put us in the top four ??! 😮 That's Dover schooling for you!

Harry wheeler and his gang are the best sales men in non league football let me tell you that. he has been at Dagenham , St Albans , welling, . And billericay as a coach They all eventually worked him out and sacked him .... Bit of a pattern here Isn't there ?? I was shocked someone like that would even be considered as the main manager for a club like Maidstone , the he guy is totally out of his depth and he will rip the heart / spirt out of your club with his revolving door policy and take you down . I am afraid to say. Then at the end of it he will get sacked like he always does then disapear off in to the darkness looking for his next sales pitch and victim. Some record for a 30y old . And before you say it winning the Ryman prem with billericy is not an achievement , my nan could of won that league with the money he had . Good of luck your going need it . Think dave is trying to mix it. f**k what he says. We are Maidstone. We’ll get out this shit and probably just miss out on play offs. COYS

Bad news Dave our New year's day fixture has been made all ticket and Dovers allocation is ONE and it's not you I am afraid and as a mark of respect for the way we are treated by your excremental club the one lucky ticket holder will be locked in the bog for the duration of the game.

Pretty certain dave is none other than Frenchstone.
Same writing style and grammatical quirks, same attitude and even the choice of moniker 'dave'. Spelt with a lower case 'd' just like his favourite target 'daveu'.
pmh and pmhnot wrote in a very similar style all those years ago.

Many appear to think that Harry has signed better players and got them fitter than Jay did. Yet Jay managed better points per game in all three seasons that he managed in the NPL.
So, if Harry was given his marching orders - and I certainly am not advocating for it - the club could do worse than eat a bit of humble pie and give Jay a call up for the rest of the season.
He's had a long time to reflect on what he did right and wrong and will be an even better manager now that he was before. And before anyone asks I'm not a friend or relative of Jay's nor the man himself. But I do believe that Jay was one of the best things to happen to this club since reformation.
Football is a cruel industry. Managers don't get to take a sabbatical or take time out of the office to go on training courses. They have to do their work with people like me criticising them publicly for things that are beyond their control and even calling for their dismissal. Not too many of us would feel reflective enough to improve our performance in that environment.

If relegation happens, the owners themselves will be subject to 'the Harry treatment' from some quarters.

While the current owners are in charge that ain't happening. Agree with that, more chance of finding a pork chop in a synagogue than that occurring...….
