I'm flattered to think that my posts are so great that people from Crewe are logging on to read my posts. Thanks for the compliment Not sure where where you got ‘great’ from? Self praise is no recommendation. I say you are just a bit biased.

They’ve obviously read some of your posts and think you’re a child! This psot reminded me of the Only Fools and Horses episode when Rodney "won" an art competition in which Del Boy had entered him.
"He's a big lad for 14" (or something similar)

No 1st team forwards to come on as sub. We do need some reinforcements up front.

Truly awful. Much worse than Solihull. We haven't got a clue. Paxman and Phillips working hard, but nothing, anywhere. Their goal a direct result of leaving nobody upfield when they had a corner. Ball goes to Walton who is incapable of holding the ball and floats it long. They race back, truly quick their 15, and we concede. Again. Nobody beyond the back post at corners and only loose balls pumped upfield. Same old same old. Macclesfield no better. As worse a half as I can remember and not a single effort on goal. Crap, crap, crap. Second half has to be better! Crowd the only ones making an effort.

Played so much better second half, but Macc a shambles once Powell scored. Great free kick too. Did Walton dive for it? Probably. Their defender thought so and Walton was grinning, but about time we mixed it up a bit. Second goal looked well over the line, so must await highlights with interest. Third goal, from Romain, a result of their own defenders clattering the keeper, but given as a foul. Again, highlights will prove one way or the other. No matter, up steps Turgott for the penalty. If anything, had an off day till then, but still looks class. Romain ran his socks off, second half, while Phillips and McClellan growing into the full back roles. Not perfect, but some great tackles. Elvis End were superb throughout. Long trip home for the Macc faithful though. Not much for them to enjoy. So not bothered. Sorry folks...

Unclear on the goal line incident but foul on keeper probably correct and almost always given regardless.

Highlights here at 1733: www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/45792562The Walton 'goal' needs more detailed analysis and slow motion. Macclesfield might feel they should have had a foul just before the penalty. So I guess that evens things up....

Didn't realize the foul on the keeper was his own player, but the other one apparently came back off the stanchion, not for the first time. Macclesfield were poor and only had one shot all game. We were poor first half, but much better after the break. Elliot Romaine my MOTM. The Gallagher was rocking, even the main stand joining in.

Wrong about Romain's goal, it seems. Those sort of challenges on the keeper rarely allowed. About as right as I was re attendance too. The queue was due to turnstile problems. Ho Hum, a win is a win!
