So, just lost our top scorer from the end of last season then. Just as well the defence has been strengthened!

Not bothered about Wynter and Josh Hare leaving as them two were major reasons why our defence leaked countless goals all of last season. Eastleigh fans can look forward to defensive lapses. Iām happy with the current backline being put together here.

Bottom line is..like Lokko..if a player does not want to play for Maidstone United, we wish them well and move on. It was how we got Finney! If it was about money then the club cannot be held to ransom. |

By the lack of news on the 2 forwards i take it they must of turned us down......with everyone else signing decent forwards its starting to get a bit worrying.
I really hope Jay can pull something out of the bag or we could be in for a another tough season.

The fact clubs around us, and probably not too far from budget have already made some good shrewd signings I'm getting fairly worried. I imagine we will end up picking up the complete unknowns or lower league stragglers rather than anyone "top shelf".

No point in worrying or getting concerned.
The club may have already got at least 2 deals sown up and will release the news along with a third signing.
Have I got insider information ? NO !

I was expecting them to unveil a signing at the update meeting but the England game cancelled that, so waiting for that to be rearranged.
Maybe the directors v supporters game might have a signing announcement at half time or something.
