Ady Pennock has left the Gills by "mutual consent". They can do one if they want Jay and Nicky... I don't think there was ever any suggestion they might want Jay and Nicky. |

Bloody Fleet have started winning again.
But today I feel we should be laughing at Eastleigh - game postponed dues to waterlogged pitch - in September!!

Very interesting article - thanks for posting that. I'd often wondered what happened to that scheme. I must admit I never thought it would work, but, as Brooks says, perhaps today it would? Interesting also that Daish admits that a NL club can't survive on gate receipts alone - and that was a club that had a decent attendance by non-league standards. |

To be fair to MyFootballClub, Gravesend were struggling financially at the time and the cash injection gave them a couple more years of relative stability, so at least they had time to find a new buyer before the membership dried up.
