How much had you had to drink at the time? damn you JDL you made me google it! Sapporo Dome Japan! I've been dragged into the NWS/JDL dark side! And it's not a pleasant place! God, I'll be looking at the search facility next! "NWS/JDL dark side" You know how to hurt...

How much had you had to drink at the time? Sorry I never drink and read! ;-) That's why you drink so much because I find it hard to believe you read anything (this board excepted).

God, I'll be looking at the search facility next! Oh Timothy. I look things up to introduce fact to an argument or to clarify something that may be unclear otherwise I don't waste my time. JDL trawls aimlessly through figures and stats to try and find something meaningful so he can look good on the board. Most of the time there has been no debate around the things he produces suggesting that nobody is interested.

I'm sure I read somewhere there's a stadium where the pitch is slid out and back from the car park? I think Tottenham are doing something similar in their new stadium? They've got an artificial pitch (for the NFL) below the grass pitch which will slide out of the way.

They've got an artificial pitch (for the NFL) below the grass pitch which will slide out of the way. What could possibly go wrong with that?

Has anyone told the EFL that 3 teams with 3G pitches are currently in the NL playoff places. Time to wake up to the new reality.

Has anyone told the EFL that 3 teams with 3G pitches are currently in the NL playoff places. Time to wake up to the new reality. That could take the play-off qualifying places down to 10th - which is almost as daft as not allowing 3G!

That could take the play-off qualifying places down to 10th - which is almost as daft as not allowing 3G! I don't think it can. Clubs whose grounds fail the ground grading can withdraw from the playoffs but as the rules stand we have to take part, and then if we win either tear up the pitch or be relegated, and with no prospect of getting back until we replace the 3G with grass.

Tottenham's new pitch system. youtu.be/ZA6cbCe3vnAVery impressive and probably expensive technology, but not sure what would happen in the case of mechanical breakdown. Would be much simpler to just have 3G.

Was that a 3G pitch our precious PL superstars were playing on at Andorra?
