It will be like being reunited with an old friend for our away support on 28th then. You'll also be pleased to note Solihull have just signed Nortei Nortey. You can start making up the songs now... Did he not play for Wrexham earlier in the season at the Gallagher. Indeed. Bloke behind us spent most of the time after he came on praying he's get sent off so he could shout "you nortei boy!" Probably the most exciting half hour he's ever had.

Does Chris Smalling have a box at Old Trafford which Terry and Oliver can use to entertain and raise funds? Why would anyone want to go to the other MUFC when they come and see us? And did you know that we are the original MUFC? Even though the other one was formed before us they didn't change their name to MUFC until the early 20th century. No points for their original name!

I've always assumed we must have had a different name originally, as 'united' is usually used when two or more teams combine. I don't think anyone ever started as a 'united' - although you might have to go back a very long way with some clubs to find out when the name changed (eg pre FL).

It's a forum. There is a rule for every child you tell off once you should praise five times. He probably feels the need to balance your tripe five fold. And personnally I find they often start a health debate which is the point of a forum.

Am I the only one who is incredibly anal and anorak-ish about football architecture? I can't visit another ground without imagining how it could have been built better or improved. It bothers me the main stand extension did not reach the goal line. Why did we build changing rooms and put those supporters' bricks in the way of future expansion? That family enclosure must have terrible sight lines. But I'm glad the new stand does not run the whole width of the pitch, so it is higher and allows for future expansion. Did they leave enough space behind it for a second tier in the future? I worry about such things.

Ah a fellow likeminded person 😃 I work in construction so think about that at our ground a lot not to mention the OCD kicking in. I don't know if due to available cash maybe at the time, maybe also evacuation strategy of the spitfire and the changing rooms with stands?. It doesn't look prefab either so can't dismantle and re erect either Or could be the old case hindsight is a wonderful gift 😊

I seem to remember potential expansion plans which extends the main stand all a bit futuristic and includes the demolition of the spitfire/changing rooms but ours is not to wonder why but just to wonder !

No you're not alone i work in construction and the main stand has always bugged me. I hope one day that the club will think about relocating Spitfire under new Town End stand and then evening up the Main stand!

Complete lack of planning on the club and owners behalf. Money that would and should have been spent on players and if they had we would currently be in the premiership by now. Urgent request , launch the PMH launch the PMH

It does bug me that the ground isn't symmetrical. Having said that no one gave a hoot cos we were back in town and that was good enough for me. It was all down to space and money when it came to the original build positions and no one expected expansion as early as we've had. Hey look at all us construction workers, we should put a price in for tendering of the town end.
