What the hell is a half pint glass Correct me if I am wrong but is it not the correct way to drink a bottle of the dog by using a half pint glass and continuing to top up at regular intervals. If he had put Schooner I would have known what he was talking about

Just had a perfectly acceptable all day breakfast at the Queen Anne. Ratio of drinkers to diners explains why pubs are turning to food. Nothing to indicate whether this is still a 'gay' pub. Decor good by Maidstone pub standards, so maybe the gays are on to something drinking here. The Queen Anne is now open until 3am but the front door is locked and you can only enter from the rear.

Will Drakes ever open again ? Or is it toast ? Opening again. Good but will anybody be able to afford to drink in there as it is definitely the priciest pub in town.

Was Drake's the most expensive? Can't remember feeling ripped off. 4 degrees seems pricey, but a decent choice. Obviously 'Spoons cheapest, along with the Rifle Volunteers. I will be in the 4 degrees tonight and yes it is expensive but not compared to some craft ales establishments. The craft ale bar on Waterloo station, providing it's still there,I paid £5.20 for a half.

Because when I ordered it I did not know the price and if I had been on my own I would have refused to pay it and left but when you are with a group of people that is harder to do.

Will Drakes ever open again ? Or is it toast ? Opening again. When ? And will I get lost in a crowd there or will only 5 other hardcore drinkers be there ?
