Not doing so well this year. But you need to remember that they have a hefty second income stream from other clubs using their ground. If we had that, we wouldn't be struggling either. We have a hefty second income stream of £500,000 a year from the pitch, according to our owners. I'm not convinced our pitch earns that much. It's not a very scientific study, admittedly, but every time I go past the stadium, the lights are on, but the pitch is empty. Or maybe £500k pa isn't that much? I suspect BW get a lot more than that. But, I freely admit I really have no idea - and can't be arsed to do the research. So, if anyone does actually know any of this, I'd love to see the figures.

Think the figures might have included how much we save by not having to rent other pitches for training, reserve matches etc.

On the assumption that the new pitch will cost £250,000 and the current pitch has lasted 8 years, it costs about 31,250 a year plus maintenance costs or about £600 per week. It is used for training as well as by many of the clubs teams so even without the revenue from letting it out, it is good value. Further money is raised by the bar which would not be open if the ground was not being used.

£600 a week is probably less than one of our better wages.

I think i heard a figure of £180 per hour to hire it and so let's say its hired around 50 hours per week that's £9000 ×52 weeks is £468000 and so the claim it makes £500K per year is quite feasible.

Also, your calculation assumes that the pitch is hired every week of the year, but I suspect most of the hires are likely to be more seasonal. If you assume an average of 5 hours a day, instead, and over 9 months, not a year, you get only £245,700 - less than half the quoted £500k a year.

Not really though is it. If that form in your screenshot continues for the rest of the season they stay up. So its actually survival form. Something we failed to do last season.

Bottom four form without the early wins is absolutely nailed on relegation form.
Four points from 18 is abysmal.
Two scenarios. The owner pumps in more money. The owner gets bored.

It is bad form for sure. But Fylde only have 4 from 18 also, so seeing as Ebbsfleet have more points than the 3 teams in your screenshot and fylde, the fleet will stay up if the form continues.
I think they will go down though. A bit like how we did last season. Started well enough, and then crumbled.

I have just seen an updated all time National League table, our original club lies 36th and our new version lies 87th out of 121. This of course means nothing I just thought it rather interesting, sad that I am.

Combined we would be 28th with 740 pts, Kiddy are top 100+pts clear of Woking.

Ebbsfleet look in big trouble, today's defeat against Dagenham makes it 7 defeats in the last 10 games.
