Yes it was cold but we were beaten by the better team.I can only recall us having 2 shots all game.Nice to have some friendly banter with their keeper and the number 2 at the end of the game.Good luck to them in next round.Well done Town Enders for some vocal support despite the way the game panned out.ps hope you town boys can read this ok jdl

It wasn't cold at all in Wrexham last night, I went out without a coat after the game and didn't feel at all chilly.

It is incredible that players make these stupid mistakes - what a muppet. I know we kind of hate the Mangels but it doesn't feel totally right that we progress after getting stuffed. I do feel for them a little bit because this is more the players fault than the club's. He must have known he'd played in the competition before, surely! it is amazing how often this happens.

Why feel sorry we put out a 3rd string ,they played 2nd it was a mis-match its sheer halfwit tinpot Tonbridge to blame ,they did this 4 seasons ago. Id respect them if they acknowledged the nature of the game,and that they were always going to win ,and they resigned from the League Cup,before the hearing. Id expect Maidstone and Maidstonians to do this ,this is the right thing ,i would not want Maidstone to win this cup ,if we had done this.,i certainly would not attand any furthur games in the cup ,if it was us. Thats the difference ! |
