After my mega man cold of the last week i decided to brave the elements tonight. Unfortunately i gave up halfway though the 2nd half at 2-0 down with me shivering and no amount of Bovril was gonna warm me up. Still the crowd was 460 which i don't think is that bad for a night like this. Roll on Saturday  |

Real boys against men game tonight. Tonbridge looked like a team that plays together regularly, we looked like a bunch of schoolkids who'd barely met. 4 - 0 was kind to us.

Shouldn't this be in the reserve/academy section. No because it's a first team competition, anyone is eligible to play. Therefore it's in the right place, |

Real boys against men game tonight. Tonbridge looked like a team that plays together regularly, we looked like a bunch of schoolkids who'd barely met. 4 - 0 was kind to us. Agreed, no pace really on wings, no target man, domination is an understatement |

We had to reward them for agreeing a date for JP
ok 20 odd mangels did ,they celebrated like they had just beaten a league 1 team on live TV or something!.
Im sure their chairman did, this mighty and very wonderful cup run rolls on for them , after expenses and a split of the gate they have made £11.28p.
Woopie doo doo.The Mangels aint got a clue.

You lot seem a bit sour that you have a rubbish reserve team. Money can buy you some top non league players but it can't buy you a decent academy it seems!
Good luck this weekend, I genuinely mean that. I'm one of the few angels fans who cheered and was happy when Frannie got that winning header. We may be local rivals but when it's non league vs league, us non league fans must stick together.
When your nice little cup run is over, I look forward to coming to plastic land in the new year, seeing the angels make it 3-0 against you this season, and then seeing you loose the play off final.

To be honest we played a load of first year academy players against an older set of players who've obviously played together a fair bit. You even had a first teamer out. Not that that's an excuse, as somebody else said really was men against boys out there.

Did we buy them? I always thought they took voluntary relegation? Fair play, you played well and as others have mentioned, men against boys, but appreciate Steve McKimm agreeing to the fixture and whilst you guys can bask in the glory one of best players has now served out a ban and can play in the 2nd round of the FA Cup. |

Now that's proper twisted bitterness. Its not a little cup run its the FA cup 2nd round and has been worth over 200k ,add the seasons income from "Plastic Land" its probably over half a Million. Ill agree with the nice bit,in fact its been very nice ,Three TV games,have the Mangels ever been on Telly bob.? Have the Mangels ever been in the 2nd round of the FA cup bob? Kerchingggggggggggggggggggggggggg. For once and for all we are not local rivals. Get used to playing us in rubbish cups ,it wont be much of a rivalry will it hahahaha. We will have this sort of joker from Darts next then Gills. |

Rubbish reserve team? That wasn't even our reserves, could tell Mangels wanted/needed the win more than us tonight, good to see the young boys given a go. Goid bit of management making sure this match was played this week to cover JP's ban.
